On a whim I watched the movie “Cleaner” tonight. Got lured in because it was directed by Martin Campbell and starred Clive Owen and Daisy Ridley.
It’s not bad, but it’s not particularly memorable either.
The best way I can describe this film: Woke Die Hard.

Brian Sauvé and Eric Conn of Refuge Cuurch Ogden are hosting America’s foremost Neonazi, explicitly pro Adolf Hitler publishing house at their New Christendom Press conference.
Anyone denying that Ogden was down with Nazism was wrong. Antelope Hill has on their table at the conference speeches by Adolf Hitler, and the memoirs of an SS officer.
New Christendom Press also publishes PCA Pastor Zachary Garris and antisemite Andrew Isker.

The StG 44 was used as a foundation for the rebels A295 blaster rifle and you'd never know because of how creatively its hidden. Meanwhile Andor just said "lets put an AK-47 in the show and not even attempt to disguise it."

As we’re doing our family Bible reading, I like to pull up the map to show the kids where these locations that we’re reading about are. Tonight was the story of Elijah’s contest with the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. You can see it here in Northwestern Israel near modern day Haifa. To the southeast is modern Afula, near ancient Jezreel where King Ahab fled to get ahead of the storm that God caused after the contest was over. Afula is very near Jesus’s hometown of Nazareth.

Also, this is close to the worst set I’ve ever seen in a major studio film. It looks like they intended to replace most of what’s in camera with a more designed CGI set in post and then decided not too.
I still can't believe how terrible the plot of TLJ is.
After not being trained by Jake, Rey randomly gets it in her head that Kylo can be turned back to the good side, and gets dropped off by Chewie just so Johnson can badly rehash the throne room scenes from ROTJ.

I've actually had @Literal_Word installed on my phone for quite a while, but now I'm joining @MikeWingerii and boycotting @YouVersion until they remove The Passion "translation." And that's a big step, because I've had YouVersion's Bible app as my main Bible app for nearly twenty years. I'm moving Literal Word into that spot. It was already a very good app, but I also love that they're taking advantage of this moment to make it even better.

One of my favorite things about the Prologue to Star Wars is that you can see the influence of both Foundation and Dune on Lucas.
The Old Republic/Empire is the Empire of Foundation. The quote from Princess Leia mimics the quotes from Princess Irulan from each chapter of Dune.
Haters: "George Lucas had no plans for the prequel trilogy! He was making it up as he went, and that's why it doesn't fit with the original trilogy at all!!!"

One of my favorite things about @Literal_Word is that it opens right to the text.
It has always annoyed me that in @YouVersion it keeps trying to take you back to their Home page, and you can’t prevent that from happening.
This is a really lovely Bible app. You don’t need to navigate to get to the text of Scripture when you open it up. Beautifully designed. Easy access to Greek/Hebrew. Now that it’s available in NKJV, it will be my default Bible app.
