Have you seen the diggers out at Springburn Academy ? Work has started on the Springburn Bench Project
This will create an outdoor seating area with recycling facilities for the whole community to use, we will also have outdoor learning facilities and a sensory area.

We hope this event is beyond your wildest dreams and allows local people to get involved in #TaylorWeekend regardless of income or background.
Springburn Youth Forum will also be there to speak to local young people about what matters most to them in the community.

Looking to get involved in a local Green Space in your area ?
Work is well underway on the Springburn Bench Project, this Monday 8th April is our first planting event !
We are looking for volunteers to come along and help with planting hedging wimps, all equipment provided!

Absolutely delighted for @Emmaport22 and the @SpringburnYF team who have worked relentlessly for four years to see this project come to fruition.
They have had to be persistent and overcome lots of obstacles - funding, site surveys, inflation.
Their tenacity has been inspiring.

This area was designed by Springburn Academy Pupils with consultations carried out online and in the Springburn Community Hub for the wider community to get involved

Exciting news !!
Just in time for the #GreatBigGreenWeek we have been able to update the Springburn Community Litter picking hub with new equipment, we now have an amazing 50 sets available for the community, young people and schools to use ! 🗑️🚯🌳

After our Tue session down at the Active Travel Hub (15 Eccles St), where we saw lots of tenants, we are pleased to announce that mechanics will be back for a Dr Bike (maintenance) & security marking session next week (Tues 13th June) 2-4pm

We where at the Springburn Community Hub today speaking to young people about what issues they face to celebrate #Powerofyouthday
It was great to speak to so many and note down the issues raised such broken traffic lights and summer activities

New Active Travel Hub at rear of 15 Eccles Street (G22 6BJ) is opening
We will be around tomorrow (Tues 6th) from 3-4pm for any TRAVEL/BIKE related enquiries...mechanic on-site for small bike maintenance jobs for FREE!

Come along between 11am-2pm if you fancy giving us a hand... we'll be refreshing the mud kitchen, weaving more willow around the dome and getting the area ready for lots of play over the summer.
