I made a detailed complaint via email to the dedicated safeguarding complaint mailbox of @ManchesterDio about a serious (historic) #safeguarding failure.
Absolutely nothing heard from them for SIX weeks - not even an acknowledgement. Scandalous.
Remember this promise from Justin of a safeguarding investigation into my allegations of abuse?
Well, as I predicted. It's been nearly 2 months since I met his Safeguarding Officer and I haven't heard a peep...
Perhaps that's because I reported him as a #safeguard risk?!
How many times do I have to say that this is simply not true. I myself joined @StChrys for her inclusivity and generous theological breadth, and she is one of the most diverse churches I have ever set foot in.
Some African Christians in London told me last week how hard it is to belong to a (evangelical) CoE church as other African believers (in UK & back in Nigeria) assume they're now liberal.
Current debates must be doing tremendous harm to CoE intercultural revival/regeneration...
We celebrated the Solemnity of #Epiphany this morning, with visiting President and Preacher Alan Simpson from the Church House @DioManchester. At Mass our ordinand @KENSON1997 chanted The Epiphany Proclamation after the reading of the Gospel. #stchrys
Happy Christmas

Not a woman, so forgive the intrusion, but has he actually asked any women ? Every single woman member of the clergy I know is livid about the 5GP and the discrimination they protect & promote. 🤷🏼♂️ maybe he should stop saying what he wants to hear and actually listen?
#ShoutOut and Retweet!
The 5 guiding principles of @ChurchofEngland unacceptable, they clearly discriminate against women and should be abolished as soon as possible.
This needs saying loudly and clearly.
Mass today at 11am will be Fr Ian's last mass in the parish, before he retires, and also celebrates 145 years since the consecration of our wonderful church.
