News: It has been announced that Fr Simon, subject to usual pre-appointment checks, has been appointed the next Rector of @BowBellsChurch. Please do pray for him & for both parishes & PCCs. His last service here will be 26 April at 3pm and his installation Sept 15th at 7pm.

Moving to be in the Chamber this afternoon as my dear brother Archbishop @CottrellStephen and sisters and brothers at @ChurchOfEngland General @Synod remembered their brothers, #The21 #LibyaMartyrs, at today’s closing session. “…They were, in life, like each of us, a member of a denomination, but in death they were Christians. They were simply followers of Jesus Christ, and it was for that, that they were killed. In remembering them, and I hope you will remember then in your churches and in your prayers this weekend, it is a sober reminder of the persecution that still exists for many of our sisters and brothers in Christ across the world, and the price that they pay for their witness to the Gospel.”
