Massive shoutout to @KenTheRogers for guiding all the Bitcoin Builders at @Stacks and particularly at the @StacksAustralia chapter. You made a massive contribution to a the learners. We thank you Kenny 🟧🍸
Today is my last day at Stacks Labs. I've been in the Stacks ecosystem for 5 years now, just over 4 working on Developer Relations full time. One thing I have repeated since the very beginning, that I will continue to repeat, is that the community is the best part of this ecosystem. While I am of course sad to be leaving, I am also excited to see the work of everyone in the ecosystem come to fruition over the rest of the year, both the core contributors and the amazing community of builders I've worked with over the years. They say you should try to never be the smartest person in your circle, and I've been able to surround myself with smart, competent, caring people over the last 5 years. I still strongly belive in the mission of Bitcoin and building a robust economy on top of it with Stacks, and I'll be around still. As for what I will be focusing on going forward, I've been deeply embedded in building with AI the last two years, and I am going to be leaning strongly that direction for the foreseeable future. I'll be focusing on pursuing opportunities in the AI space, including consulting (take a look below if you need some help implementing or building with AI πŸ˜‰) and looking for career opportunities in that space. Again, I can't stress enough how much I've enjoyed being a part of this ecosystem and working with you all. See you around 🫑

Bitcoin-backed stables have doubled in supply since June. In the coming years, BTC-denominated assets will multiply. From stables, to credit markets, to structured products. Bitcoin will be the settlement layer for the world. I'm confident this is the opening move.

Institutions don’t want experiments. They want rails they can trust. That’s why Bitcoin finality matters. That’s why Stacks matters.

Hello @Crypto_McKenna πŸ‘‹ Exchanges promise convenience but they come with attack vectors. We built Ryder One to deliver both security usability without compromise We called your thesis two years ago: hardware wallets are the unlock for consumer DeFi. πŸ‘€ Read the receipts: ryder.id/blogs/news/how-self… We're down to chat πŸ™

I think there is a market for hardware wallets that implements the same security measures as centralised exchanges. For example facial verification, passkeys/yubikeys, whitelisted addresses, advanced security protection for malicious state updates and private key recovery. If one were to really transition into full self custody then the hardware wallets should be made as same as centralised exchanges. Once this is guaranteed then DeFi adoption should explode. If anyone is building this please reach out. Also possible that tech giants implement this first but don't see them getting there until 3-5 years out.

Global stablecoin supply recently crossed $280B. When banks closed for Labor Day, that capital kept moving. If people like fiat-backed stables as they are, imagine the interest when Bitcoin-backed options like USDh scale.

"Be squeaky as a wheel" Something @TO mentioned often in the BFF Accelerator. So true the more I see it in action. The best teams and founders get the small, almost cliche things right day after day. - Reach out to that person for partnership - Follow back - Follow back again - Drop an article to something interesting - Ping again The biggest leverage in crypto isnt fancy new products or tech unlocks. It's consistent marketing and relationship building.

Many of us are delusionally optimistic dreamers who believe Bitcoin will anchor a more grounded financial system. SIP-31 is a turning point for @Stacks, this corner of the internet is about to get much bigger. The proposal gives the ecosystem fuel for major growth, right when institutional interest in Bitcoin is heating up. The future where wealth is denominated in BTC doesn’t have to be 20 years away. At Bitflow, we're obsessed with delivering secure and credibly scalable BTC markets on-chain. I'm proud of contributing to SIP-31, and our team is ready to make the most of this moment. Obviously voting yes.
