Uhhh… your memory is failing, my friend. And this was sent after the dinner, not before. Have the receipts. I don’t begrudge you in any way, but let’s be truthful.
Not only did we not fire them, we did not give them an offer to invest based on our assessment of the team (clearly retrospectively wrong and our loss). Was honest in my assessment of why we did not offer to invest, just trying to be helpful. Never discussed equity. So firing/equity is totally a fictional story. Anything goes on twitter I guess

Cloudflare is working on Web Search, giving AI agents and Workers real-time access to the public web.

This is pathetic. Google engineers are using our repo and calling it their own feature!
Generic AI prompts burn tokens guessing at performance issues from raw source code 📉 Chrome DevTools for agents fixes this. Let your coding agent run real performance traces and agentic Lighthouse audits to catch actual speed, accessibility, and SEO blockers directly in the browser → goo.gle/4wVbLvc #GoogleIO

Today, StartupHub is launching x402 Mesh. An open peer-pricelist and referral protocol to ensure safe Agentic Commerce. It's built on the tech of @base, @coinbase and @Cloudflare. Why did we build this? And why now? 🧵

We think every product will need an agent-market surface. Just like every app needed a credit card input. Then Stripe. Then Apple Pay. Now agents need a market. Market Ready is the next Enterprise Ready. Read the full spec, grab the npm reference middleware, and add your API to the mesh in 20 minutes. MIT Licensed. Full repo and spec: github.com/StartupHub-AI/x40…

There are no closed networks or platform float. Settlement is fully atomic on @base using a non-custodial splitter contract (MeshSplitter.sol). Crypto-native: Onboard with a single Base wallet. The contract automatically routes the vendor share and referral commission in a single transaction. Zero trust. Fiat fallback: Opt-in rails (@stripe Connect, manual invoices) exist for enterprise compliance. Bring your own identity layer (ACK-ID, WIMSE); the mesh handles the money. @catena_labs

The important part: every vendor becomes both a seller and a broker. Today's payment flow assumes: • Vendor hides competition • Agent overpays or bounces • Zero cross-vendor visibility • High platform float/fees Agent-native mesh needs: • Dynamic discovery at paywall • Real-time price/quality comparison • Signed referral tokens • Atomic, trustless splits

So how does it work? Your app publishes a discovery manifest at /.well-known/x402-mesh.json. When an agent hits your paywall, you return your price plus a signed menu of alternative peer offers. If the agent picks a peer, they pay you a commission. Human-readable. Agent-readable. Easy to implement. It composes with existing x402 primitives, Next.js middleware, and on-chain splits. (This should feel boring in the best possible way.)

Today we are launching x402 Mesh. An open peer-pricelist and referral protocol for safe agentic commerce, layered right on top of x402. It turns an HTTP 402 dead end into an active, open market at the exact moment of payment.

Agents need a first-class discovery and payment flow. Not a closed-door dead end. Right now, when an agent hits a paywall, it sees one price and one vendor. It's a dead end. Agents need a simple way to answer: • What are my alternative options right now? • What are their price and quality metrics? • How do we handle commissions dynamically? That's what x402 Mesh does.

For 20 years, payment flows were built for humans: • Landing page pricing tables • Credit card forms • Stripe Checkout screens • Manual enterprise invoices • Session-based shopping carts These assume a human is sitting in a browser comparing tabs. Agents break that assumption.
