🛠️Steam Inventory Helper v2.10.4 is out After Valve’s big Market update, a lot of people ran into issues with the new Beta. We’ve been working non-stop to fix that. In this update we: — Restored proper inventory and selling functionality — Fully stabilized the new Market Beta (stacking, graphs, wear switching, and price providers now work correctly) — Fixed a bunch of smaller (but important) bugs from the previous release Right now we’re working on bringing the order list back into the new Beta design — trying to make it actually convenient, not just pretty. If you’re still on an older version, we recommend updating. And as always — if something feels off, just let us know. We’re here 😳

The 10 Best Sticker Crafts with IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stickers – Is There an Easter Egg Hinting at the Champion? The Major is still in full swing, but the community has already unleashed all its creativity and started slapping on the new stickers. The fresh IEM Cologne 2026 stickers turned out stunning: the Foils shimmer, the gold gleams just right, and the holos catch rich, vivid color shifts from any angle. And the best part is, plenty of these logos look like they were drawn specifically to match certain skins. We’ve put together 10 crafts that cover the whole spectrum – from a budget Deagle for a couple of bucks to a gold AWP that’ll run you the price of a decent knife. In some, the stickers line up perfectly by color; in others you’ll need a bit of imagination; and in a few they add exactly the finishing touch the skin was always missing. Dive in, get inspired, and take notes — some of these stickers could easily take off as an investment. >>> blog.sih.app/en/news/the-10-…

Another lawsuit hitting Valve for being "too dominant" with the 30% cut and Most Favoured Nation clauses We already talked about how "plenty of options" is mostly theoretical when people have years of money and time sunk into their Steam accounts. This case adds another layer. Even if Valve is forced to change how it handles pricing or cuts in the future, the real question for traders isn’t just game prices. It’s what happens to the ecosystem that actually makes trading viable — unified inventory, liquid secondary markets, reliable item systems, and the fact that almost everyone serious about skins and trading is already here. Constant legal pressure on the platform that powers the most active trading environment in PC gaming creates uncertainty. And uncertainty is rarely good for long-term value in digital goods. So how do you think these repeated attacks on Valve ultimately strengthen or weaken the Steam trading ecosystem over the next few years?
Valve has been hit by yet another class action lawsuit in the Netherlands, this time from Consumer Competition Claims (CCC). The CCC claims that Valve holds a dominant position in the market, estimated at around 85%, and is breaching competition law through so-called "Most Favoured Nation" clauses. They argue that Valve’s 30 percent cut on all game sales is too high and reflects monopolistic behaviour. Dutch consumers have suffered total damages of more than €220 million. Source: GameClaim

What are these two cyber tourists doing on Falcons’ last tab? 😭 karrigan 0-10 and TeSeS 1-9 while NiKo is out here dropping a 1.86 rating and 96 ADR. Meanwhile G2 fans are already joking about feeding him those Cologne kebabs… Is this the "revenge arc" we were waiting for? 👀

Physical Steam gift cards discontinued "to fight fraud" Sure 🤔 Cards let people buy cases and keys with cash, anonymously, zero identity attached. The NY AG lawsuit specifically named that as a reason minors had easy access to loot boxes. Valve says the two things are unrelated. The pattern isn't subtle at this point. Capsule-free sticker system with broken pricing. Souvenir-O-Matic leaked before launch with obvious gaps. X-ray rolling out across EU. Now physical cards that won't stop a single actual scammer. This doesn't look like a monetization roadmap. It looks like Valve speed-running "remove everything that rhymes with gambling" before the court gets to ask about it xD And if you've been wondering why the Armory rotation still hasn't dropped and every update lately feels half-finished — Valve isn't heads-down building features right now. They're heads-down building a legal defense 💡 Your minds: what gets the "rework" treatment next?

Steam will no longer be restocking physical gift cards at retailers due to scammers.

Better ask us 😎 IEM Cologne Major 2026 Pick’Em, Stage 3: The Easiest Call of the Whole Tournament? The Major has finally reached its most exciting stage — the one where the strongest teams step in, the ones who had a little more time to prepare for the event. On top of that, for the first time every Swiss-stage round will be a Bo3, which means the teams that genuinely deserve it will be the ones moving on to the playoffs. As for how Stage 2 wrapped up, there were no real surprises. The only team that flat-out disappointed was Astralis, but for the most part the squads that advanced were exactly the ones who were supposed to. Whether IEM Cologne finally serves up its first big upsets in Stage 3 — we’ll find out very soon. But the Pick’Em has to be locked in right now, so let’s get to it! >>> blog.sih.app/en/news/iem-col…

The problem with people accusing others of using AI in their work is how they use AI themselves. They let it do everything for them, usually pretty poorly, so they assume everyone operates the same way 🤡 It's fighting windmills at this point. LLMs are part of reality now. The number of people using them daily keeps growing, and they're going to keep embedding deeper into everything, especially considering how many resources companies have already burned building them. Coming to terms with that probably should've happened by now 🧐

Karma moment? The $60k "safekeeping from wife" loss story is wild on its own🧠 Trader gets romantically involved with someone he met through a trade while going through a divorce. Slowly hands over his collection including a Black Pearl Skeleton Knife, two Blaze one-of-one holo crafts, Karambit Doppler, gloves. discord gets deleted, skins are gone, half already sold 🤡 The part the post left out: his rep in the community isn't exactly spotless. accusations of borrowing items and never returning them, and some of the "stolen" pieces reportedly weren't fully his to begin with. whether Boba showed up by coincidence or someone just decided to collect a debt the same way it was taken is a question worth sitting with.. Also for anyone actually worried about divorce proceedings: digital assets can come up in court in many US states and EU countries, but proving the need to split them is genuinely hard. trying to hide them first tends to cause more problems than just leaving them alone Marry freely, your Safari Mesh invests is probably safe 🤣
This is my story of how I got manipulated and scammed out of every @Counterstrike skin that I've owned roughly worth 60K USD. I want to share my experience as both a warning and an example of what can happen when you place too much trust in the wrong person. I originally met someone who went by "Boba" (Tiffany) through a potential skin trade. Over the course of about a month, we became friends. We talked regularly throughout the day, played games together, and had a lot of casual conversations about life. During that time, I loaned her an AK-47 | B the Monster with 4x Dignitas Cologne 2014 Holos on April 5, 2026. I've always been a trusting person, and at the time I had no reason to believe that trust would be misplaced. I had mentioned to her that I need to sell the AK-47 | B the Monster, and she told me that if she ended up liking the skin enough, she would be interested in buying it herself. As we continued talking, I learned she was a woman, and our conversations eventually became flirtatious. My wife later discovered the nature of those conversations, which was inappropriate and something I acknowledge was wrong. At the time, my wife and I were already going through divorce proceedings. During one of our discussions, Tiffany brought up the fact that I owned a large collection of rare and valuable CS skins, including one-of-one items such as a Desert Eagle Blaze with 4x Vox Katowice 2015 stickers in a custom placement. She pointed out that these skins could potentially be considered assets during a divorce and could become subject to division or forced sale. Based on those conversations, I believed it would be safer to have someone I trusted temporarily hold some of my items until everything was finalized. Over time, I transferred multiple skins to her for safekeeping. Looking back, there were warning signs that I ignored. Near the end, she began asking to purchase items from me through CSFloat. At the time, I didn't think much of it, but in hindsight, it was a major red flag that I should have taken more seriously. Unfortunately, the trust I placed in her was ultimately betrayed. I no longer have access to the items I transferred, and she has since deleted our Discord message history, making it difficult to provide the full context of our conversations and agreements. While I cannot prove every detail due to those deleted messages, I am sharing my account of what happened as accurately as I can remember it. I am not posting this to start arguments or force anyone to believe my side of the story. I understand that people will draw their own conclusions. I simply want to document what happened, accept responsibility for my own mistakes, and warn others to be cautious about who they trust online especially when valuable items are involved. 🇨🇳 Chinese CS2 skins taxes, is this actually real? On June 8 something started spreading in trading circles: Chinese tax authorities are allegedly pressuring skin traders through C5Game, and IGXE put out an official notice saying they'll cooperate with tax authorities starting 2026 and hand over KYC user data. Worth stating upfront: none of this is confirmed in official public sources yet. Everything is coming out of Chinese WeChat groups and trader posts. Those chats can say anything, and there's plenty of skepticism in there too. Only thing worth treating as fact right now is official statements from the platforms themselves, not secondhand summaries. If it's real, here's the picture. Not some special "anti-skin" law, just standard e-commerce income taxation. The threshold being mentioned is ¥300,000 quarterly turnover (~$41-42k). Under that line, less to worry about. Above it, traders are apparently getting calls suggesting they voluntarily declare income, though without the heavy enforcement the memes would have you believe 🗿 Worth mentioning: LycheeCS, the Chinese trader who originally posted this, notes there are plenty of ways to work around taxes in China. How strictly any of this actually gets enforced is still unclear. One side effect if this is real: services that help people pass KYC on Chinese platforms will probably start shutting down or disappearing entirely. Nobody wants to take on someone else's tax liability, especially if thresholds get tightened later. What happens to existing accounts with "non-original" owners under strict enforcement is a whole separate question nobody has an answer to yet 👀 For the broader market this could mean a temporary liquidity pullback from Chinese platforms, lower volume from high-volume Chinese traders, and some volatility in segments where Chinese buyers have been dominant. No reason to panic right now, but worth thinking about before it kicks in. What's your move guys if this turns out to be real? 😒
Tax update for Chinese CS traders: Several friends of mine have already received calls from their local tax authorities regarding C5 transactions and were asked to self-report. As of now, this appears to be related specifically to C5 and Chinese KYC users. Youpin is reportedly still in discussions with tax authorities. For most people, the key number to pay attention to is ¥300,000 in quarterly sales. If you’re below that level, there’s generally no need to spend too much time worrying about this. Based on the information currently available, there are three tax categories that may be involved depending on your local tax authority: • VAT (Value Added Tax) — commonly around 1% in some regions and generally based on withdrawals/income received. • Personal Income Tax — applied to profits after costs. • Property/Asset Income Tax — some users have also been informed about this category, though implementation appears to vary. The exact treatment depends heavily on your local tax office, which is why different people are receiving different guidance. The overall framework looks much closer to standard e-commerce taxation than anything specifically designed for CS skins. Most importantly: don’t panic. At the moment, most cases are still being handled through voluntary self-reporting, and there are many legitimate ways to report costs and manage taxes properly. TL;DR: C5 has started. Some high-volume traders have already received calls. If your quarterly sales are below ¥300k, you probably don’t need to worry too much right now.
