Steyer needed to gain 110k per million on Hilton, but heās gaining 70k per million right now, and was at 50 per million in previous batches.
As a result his hill got steeper and the runway is shorter. He now has to start hitting 121k per million, basically double his rate for the last three days.
And another 106,869 votes in the CA Governor's race from San Diego, Riverside Modoc, and Mono Counties that break 30.3% Becerra, 23.46% Steyer, 23.43% Hilton, and 13.06% Bianco.
Steyer narrows his deficit for the 2nd spot in the runoff by 35 votes, has just 338,058 more to go.

Looks like the governor's housing proposal today is going after local fees on affordable housing developments:
ALT Lowering Aļ¬ordable Housing Costs The Governorās revised budget proposes new reforms to stop state aļ¬ordable housing dollars from being wasted on locally imposed development fees that drive up construction costs and reduce the number of homes California can build. The proposal would prohibit local governments from charging impact fees on aļ¬ordable housing projects when they are directly applying for or co-applying for state funding, while incentivizing broader local fee waivers through competitive housing programs. Combined with the Governorās āOne Stop Shopā housing finance reforms, the proposal is expected to reduce aļ¬ordable housing development costs by tens of thousands of dollars per unit and generate hundreds of millions in annual savings that can be reinvested into building more housing.
