A good going subcutaneous calc bursa!
Sometimes injecting this alone can switch off the insertional syndrome symptoms - like the pain CPU for the achilles insertion....
And removing it in refractory cases

Severe insertional Achilles tendinopathy with insterstitial tear and pre-Achilles bursitis.
Onset 4 months ago in runner following 2 week holiday, return to running and change of running shoes. Had been working on loading exercises but symptoms worsening & struggling to walk

57 yo male patient twisted his ankle 3 weeks ago and had sudden pain lateral lower leg, proximal 1/3 fibula. Struggled to weight bear and had x-Ray via minor injuries reported as normal. POCUS shows cortical step deformity with periosteal oedema consistent with fracture.
