Mass deportations is either an 80-20 issue now, or it will be in short order. Look no further than the UK. We don’t have to end up where they are. I pray we don’t.
More Democrats support mass deportations, removal of criminal migrants, new poll shows trib.al/vzddmfF

Not a single dollar of American taxpayer money should EVER be used to pay the salaries of foreign workers brought here to replace us.
Government IT is starting to look a lot like corporate IT: Layoffs. H-1B replacements/ Contractors. Offshoring concerns. Promises of savings. Iowa just laid off 200 state IT workers and handed the work to a consortium led by Cognizant. The same Cognizant that recently lost an $8.4 million jury verdict in a case involving allegations tied to a “cheap labor” strategy. The work didn’t disappear. The American workers did. Only the names on the payroll changed. desmoinesregister.com/story/… @SenEricSchmitt @RepGosar @SusieWiles47 @realDonaldTrump @RepBrandonGill

Great news!
🚨 BREAKING: The House passed the $70 billion Secure America Act 214-212—funding ICE, CBP, and the largest anti-child trafficking investment in congressional history. Every Democrat voted no. It now heads to Trump's desk. "Republicans are Schumer-proofing the border," said Rep. Pfluger. @virginiagmck reports: dailysignal.com/2026/06/09/h…

Attention, @TexasGOP Delegates: Come see us at the RPT State Convention in Houston! We’ll be here all weekend fighting for policies to secure our border, boost deportations, and put Americans first! Come grab a Stop H-1B sign and a koozie!

Rep. Roy: "A lot of great Texans have been watching their state get displaced by people getting imported in here for cheap labor. Now we're seeing some crackdown with housing prices going down...but we need to keep our foot on the gas."

OPT has no foundation in law and gives a tax advantage to companies who undercut American graduates. It can and should be eliminated at the earliest opportunity.
Another dynamic: the admin is planning to scrap OPT, which gave STEM grads 3 years to work in the US before applying for the H-1B. Nixing OPT means F-1 visa holders have lower odds of getting an H-1B. F-1s who convert to H-1Bs have higher overall earnings than the H-1Bs who come directly from abroad that the $100k H-1B fee kept out. With the fee gone and with OPT removed, IT outsourcers will dominate the program.

American citizenship is a privilege, and it must be earned honestly. If you come here break our laws, and lie in your immigration proceedings, you forfeit that privilege. @DHSgov will not stand idly by while Americans are harmed by criminals including sex offenders, perpetrators of fraud, and drug traffickers who have exploited our generosity and gamed our immigration system. We will continue to use every lawful avenue to denaturalize and remove aliens.
EXCLUSIVE: The Trump administration plans to announce it is seeking to revoke the citizenship of 17 U.S. citizens accused of immigration fraud, expanding its unprecedented denaturalization campaign, CBS News has exclusively learned. cbsn.ws/49LajBM

Proponents of TVPRA and SIJ contend they have the very best of intentions — protecting vulnerable migrant children. Experience, however, has revealed that those schemes have, all too often, led to worse abuses than the harm they purported to address. cis.org/Arthur/BIA-Illegal-A…

We fully support these efforts, and hope that they are pursued to the fullest extent possible. Just like crossing the border illegally, obtaining a visa under fraudulent grounds displays a fundamental contempt for our laws. Violators must be removed from our country.

Illegal immigration is a huge issue. But we cannot sleep on the MASSIVE issues in our LEGAL immigration system. The H-1B program is a complete disaster.
🚨JUST IN: A massive H-1B visa fraud ring just got exposed in India. Nearly 90% of applications contained fake information. Over 100,000 counterfeit degrees were seized. This scam has been insane. Time to shut it down.🔥 HT @EricLDaugh

It’s hard to explain to young Texans why they can’t afford a house when banks are loaning foreign IT workers enough money to buy two million-dollar homes in Frisco. Find the reset button on whatever this is. @RepBrandonGill @RodForFrisco
During a severe national housing affordability crisis, US banks issued risky loans to foreign buyers moving to America on temporary work visas Then policy shifted and the tech job market turned The end result, detailed in the New York Post:

Affirming the principle that only citizens may vote should not be controversial. These senators have betrayed their constituents.
🚨 GOP Sens. Susan Collins (ME), Mitch McConnell (KY), Lisa Murkowski (AK), and Thom Tillis (NC) just helped KILL the SAVE America Act in the Senate — despite 83% of Americans in favor of requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote. This is deeply alarming. @SenSusanCollins @SenMcConnell @SenThomTillis @lisamurkowski

The "Dignity Act", introduced by Reps. María Elvira Salazar (R-FL) and Veronica Escobar (D-TX), proposes a pathway to legal status for certain immigrants in the U.S. illegally while still enforcing border control. .@Heritage Foundation's @lora_ries explains why she opposes the bill: "Amnesty is not good policy, because it simply tells future illegal aliens to come to the U.S., wait, and you too will eventually get your amnesty or green card. This has not worked in the past – it undermines the rule of law.

Unfortunate. The notion that ICE should limit enforcement prioritization to "worst of worst" is why the mass deportation program hasn't started and that the numbers are low. It is Obama/Biden policy. Needs to go. It should be about quantity.
NEW: During House Homeland Security Committee hearing w/ DHS Secretary Mullin, Rep. Carlos Jimenez (R-FL) agrees with Democrats that ICE should prioritize targeting the "worst of the worst" and use discretion on who they're arresting. GIMENEZ: "I think you need to use your discretion a little bit more as to who is being deported, who's being arrested, etc. let's go after the worst of the worst."

This is a positive change, as previous guidelines had allowed for knowledge exams to be conducted in Spanish. This makes our roads safer for every citizen.
NEW: DPS has made changes to the state’s commercial driver license (CDL) testing process. Effective today, all Texas CDL knowledge exams will be administered in English only. This change aligns Texas’ testing procedures with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) English language proficiency requirements and will help ensure that all newly licensed commercial drivers have the communication skills necessary to operate these vehicles safely on Texas roads. More details about these changes here: bit.ly/4vjNyNz.

BREAKING: Texas received a major border security victory. SB 4 makes it a state crime to illegally enter Texas. Shortly after I filed a legal brief defending that law, a federal appeals court ruled to allow it to be enforced while the case continues. We will keep fighting in the courts, working with President Trump, and doing everything necessary to secure our border and protect Texans.
