This is an important time to stand up for language education. Teachers of multilingual learners, or English learners, in our nation are important. Every teacher is a language teacher, and every student is a language learner. Language is in every classroom. Language is an asset. It’s part of our identity. It’s integral. It’s culturally rooted, and it’s ever evolving. Never forget how important you are as an educator of all students, including those who speak languages other than English, and are learning English as an additional language. #teaching #teachingenglish #teachingkids #language #languages #education
