Recent advances in #AgenticAI have increased the likelihood of #cyberattacks cascading into systemic risk. Unlike earlier generations of software systems, Agentic AI systems can autonomously identify and exploit vulnerabilities that defenders may not even suspect exist dvararesearch.com/mitigating…

25-year-old Anurag Rawat just ran 10 km through the unforgiving trails of Niti Valley. High altitude, thin air, rocky terrain. 1 hour 45 minutes. With cerebral palsy. At the Niti Extreme Ultra Run (May 31 to June 2), held in one of India’s most remote border valleys in Chamoli district, over 1,200 runners from 27 states showed up to push their limits. Anurag showed everyone what limits really look like. “Boundaries only exist in the mind. If the resolve is strong, the body will find a way.”

A very entertaining piece!
It is inconceivable to the Indian uncle that young people might possess agency. It is inconceivable, too, that the gerontocrats might not know all economist.com/asia/2026/05/3…

An important read for those in microfinance and policy-related journalism.
The recent NCAER-MFIN report presents a picture of a healthy and robust borrower base in India’s #microfinance sector. It suggests that microfinance has enhanced access to formal credit for low-income households by providing them affordable loans and by reducing their dependence on informal sources. It further claims that borrowers are primarily using these loans for income-generating activities and are managing their indebtedness prudently. This portrayal sits at odds with the sector’s performance over the last 24 months marked by rising NPAs, frequent write-offs and in some cases, distress-driven outcomes such as borrower suicides. @ncaer @mfin_india Read here: dvararesearch.com/what-is-ac…

@MSEDCL @CMDMSEDCL We are experiencing frequent power outages in Vashi, Navi Mumbai past few days. This was never the case earlier, what is happening? @CMOMaharashtra @Dev_Fadnavis Before approving large scale data centers, pls look into power issues for locals which seems to be happening across Mumbai & Navi Mumbai. Hope we don't suffer in coming years due to improper planning on electricity & water with GCCs & data centres requiring humongous supply.

Adani Group has received Stage-I approval for mining in 1726 hectares of the ecologically critical Hasdeo Forest of Chhattisgarh, despite massive opposition from Adivasi communities and civil society groups. If Stage-II is cleared, nearly 4.48 LAKH trees could be cut down. 4.48 lakh living beings erased in the name of “development”. Hasdeo, often called the “Lungs of India,” is not just a forest, it is the lifeline of tribal communities, biodiversity, rivers, and climate balance. History will remember who stood with the forest and who signed its destruction.
