Morning coffee views before leaving for Nice.

I am 52 years old. I have been working since I was 15 years old. I have no savings, no retirement, and will never own a home before I die. And there is now a trillionaire.

Elon Musk has enough money now to fix every McDonald's ice cream machine, but he won't because he only thinks of himself.

Again for those in the back, Elon once offered to cut a check for $6 BILLION to the WFB to "eliminate World hunger" as they said the money could. His one condition was that the accounting was public. They did not accept.
Elon Musk dismantled USAID programs that provided lifesaving assistance to millions of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people. The human cost was enormous, while DOGE’s net fiscal impact was inconsequential. Now, as Musk approaches trillionaire status, he should commit/tithe at least $100 billion to a fund dedicated to combating extreme poverty, hunger, preventable disease, and humanitarian crises worldwide. Money alone cannot undo the damage already done. But if this moment marks an unprecedented personal financial milestone, it should also be an opportunity for an unprecedented act of restitution. Musk has the resources to save and improve countless lives. He should use them.

A 15-year-old girl who had loved wrestling since she was four got put on a mat against a fucking male while the adults in charge knew exactly what they were doing. She didn’t know. They did. By the end of that match she was sobbing and running to her mother after getting digitally raped through her singlet. She still had to shake the bastard’s hand. Her own coaches just walked the fuck away. Her mother reported it the next day like any decent parent would. The law and their own policy said report it to the Title IX coordinator immediately and get law enforcement involved within 48 hours. These gutless fucks did nothing for 53 days. Fifty-three fucking days of silence while they protected their precious policy and kept letting males into girls’ sports. Only when a journalist started asking questions did these cowards suddenly remember how to do their fucking jobs. The next day they finally filed the report. The principal had the balls to call the mother afterward and say they take this shit “very seriously.” Seriously? You spineless pricks sat on a sexual assault complaint for nearly two months and only moved when the press showed up. And what did it cost? The girl quit wrestling. A sport she’d loved since she was four years old. She quit because she no longer trusted the adults in charge to protect her. Students bullied the shit out of her after the story broke and not one coach or administrator lifted a finger to stop it. They protected the policy. They protected their own asses. They left the girl to carry it alone. Fuck every last one of them. (article below)

The Knicks' success has exposed an uncomfortable truth... New York contains a staggering number of degenerate men in their 20s, whose hobbies appear to consist of drinking and fighting in public, climbing and trashing things, and confusing antisocial behavior with civic pride.

Just spitballing here, but... How about the beheadings, knife attacks, bombings, hijackings, rapes, genital mutilations, cousin marriages, terrorist attacks, intolerance to other religions, call to prayer, polygamy, blasphemy laws, the burka, tenth century lifestyle, halal, continued conquest of non-Muslim nations, continued pursuit of world domination, global jihad, Jew hatred... I'll get back as I think about this more. No doubt I missed a thing or dozen.

In LOTR, the shire spent so long sheltered from evil that it began to think evil did not exist. The west is like the shire. We must save the shire.

Last night, I read the entirety of C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. It's a novel told in the form of letters written by a demon to another demon instructing him on ways to manipulate his "patient" to do evil. This one quote sounded familiar.

¿Alguna vez has aterrizado un cohete?” ¿Qué has construido? ¿Qué has lanzado?

Bro, let’s stop pretending. Muslims make up about 25% of the entire world’s population — over 2 billion people across 50 countries. Japanese people? About 1.4% of the world. One single country. Shinto exists only in Japan. So when people say “Japan should prioritize minorities and be more accommodating to Islam,” who exactly are we talking about? The global majority is coming to one of the world’s smallest ethnic and religious groups and demanding that Japan change its culture, food, and traditions for them. That’s not “protecting minorities.” That’s the majority trying to colonize a tiny minority. Japan has every right to protect its own people and culture first. If Muslims want to live under Islamic rules, they already have dozens of countries where they can do that. They don’t need to come to Japan and turn it into another one.

the Henry Nowak murder sounds like a completely outrageous parody of the british criminal justice system. it's hard to believe it's real. - native Britons can't legally carry a breadknife - for some reason Sikhs get a special carveout and can carry "religious use" knives of any length. even over 50 cm - 18 year old boy Henry Nowak is walking home peacefully, is fatally stabbed by Vickrum Digwa with his "ceremonial" kirpan - Digwa claims to the police that he was racially abused and the responding police immediately believe him and shackle the dying Nowak, ignoring Digwa and his co-conspirators - Nowak informs the officers that he has been stabbed and the officer says "You've been stabbed? Whereabouts? I don't think you have, mate." - the officers do not check on his condition, cuffing him roughly as he bleeds out. as they read him his rights, he dies. - Digwa's mother, Kiran Kaur arrives at the scene and takes the knife with her, attempting to conceal it - Digwa's brother Gurpreet Digwa made the 999 call and attempted to concoct a defense for his brother, claiming he had been the victim of a racial attack - Despite the "life sentence" the court meted out, Digwa will be eligible for parole at age 43 - there have been no consequences whatsoever for the police officers that shackled Nowak and left him to drown in his own blood while his killers watched. none of the officers have even been named each fact is more radicalizing than the last.
