Official Journal of the swisspsychologicalsociety.ch | blind review process | open data mandatory | APCs reflect real cost | authors remain copyright holders
The countdown is on: only 97 days to go until @snsf_ch funded research will have to be made #openaccess immediately, for example through the green route.
@cOAlitionS_OA
Open access to scientific literature is important for private companies: the bank @CreditMutuel accessed as many articles as the university of Lausanne @unil.

Want to curate future research in a publishing system that ISN’T broken / exploitative / for-profit?
@PCI_RegReports is RECRUITING RECOMMENDERS (editors) from ALL fields!

I am wondering about the usual-general delay for getting an initial editorial decision in @SwissPsyOpen as I submitted for the first time in this outlet (very friendly portal BTW)
@MeikeRamon
Excited to finalize the docs for our first submission to the @SwissPsyOpen ; a new journal replacing the Swiss Journal of Psychology. This new journal is resolutely modern, in its scope and way to conceptualize and publish psychological science.
@OpenScienceUNIL
You know you are paying for prestige when it takes 5 minutes to find how much the APC actually is (see here academic.oup.com/journals/pa…). Don't be a fool. Pick a 0 APC journal (that gets money from government) or a low cost commercial open access publisher. Stop the prestige game.
This week we celebrate an early milestone at @PCI_RegReports: our first 10 public Stage 1 recommendations
rr.peercommunityin.org/artic…
These span several fields: cognitive/clinical/health/educational psychology & animal behaviour, & also include one of the first ever qualitative RRs
You need a mentor to help you publishing your research? One week left to apply to the @SwissPsyOpen mentorship program. Applications from all around the world are welcome! More information here: bit.ly/SPO_MentorshipProgram. All fees waived if no funding for #OpenAccess. #phdchat
Our review on the Registered Reports initiative is out now in @NatureHumBehav
Ten years after my own journey into #openscience began, @RegReports are here to stay, thanks to the tireless work of so many 🙏
