New paper alert ! Based on field measurements, we propose a formation mechanism for isolated aeolian sand patches, on non-erodible surfaces, associated with the sensitive nature of wind-blown sand transport to changing bed conditions. --> doi.org/10.1029/2022GL101553 <--

In late March I had the opportunity to join the TOAD (The Origin of Aeolian Dunes) project for a two-week field campaign at Great Sand Dunes National Park (GSD), Colorado. I thoroughly enjoyed gaining experience in the field and acquiring an insight into academic work.
