On 02/21, Ft. Bend County Deputy Kenneth Lewis stopped to help with a crash on I-10. While serving others in our community, a vehicle struck and killed him.

I am sorry to hear that former Fort Bend County Sheriff Milton Wright passed tonight. Prior to serving as Sheriff, Wright served our State as a Texas Ranger. I thank him for his service to our community. I always enjoyed our conversations. He will be missed.

Please join us in praying for the loved ones and friends of our deputy, who was killed in an off-duty traffic collision early this morning at the 23000 Aldine Westfield/Ciderwood. Pct 4 deputies are handling the investigation.
