Got to visit this 36Ton biomass steam plant that uses a blend of macadamia shells, dried wood barks and saw dust as fuel.
This plant is able to save approximately KES 800M in fossil fuel costs annually by switching to biomass.

The shift to electric vehicles (EVs) significantly cuts emissions of greenhouse gases while reducing the petroleum import bill, currently standing at Ksh 628.4 billion. It will also promote local manufacturing and create jobs.
That's why the Government has prioritised the adoption of EVs.
Because of this, there is an urgent need to create an enabling environment for the adoption of electric vehicles. This includes creating a comprehensive policy framework.
