I got to see a side of Narendra Modi that we have not read in the media so far. Exploring beyond headlines, our interaction with PM @narendramodi offered fresh insights. We had an extensive 90-minute conversation, far beyond the expected 20, it was an opportunity to see beyond the prevalent narratives. PM Modi engaged deeply, showing preparedness and passion, addressing even the most challenging questions with thoughtful responses. What I personally liked, is that when he was talking to us, there were no distractions, and he was completely focused on our talk. No phones. No notes. Nothing. It was a dialogue that revealed a dedication to discussing India's path forward with clarity and vision. India's journey is complex, marked by challenges and opportunities alike. Our discussion highlighted the need for strong leadership to navigate this landscape. As talk of a potential third term for PM Modi circulates, it’s crucial to consider the road ahead for India's global ascent and internal challenges. My best wishes, Mr. Prime Minister. And yes, for those asking —the last Indian PM featured on the Newsweek cover was Indira Gandhi. Now — Narendra Modi. Some of you might remember this effort (check below thread) from one of the most traumatic times of our recent past. Customs has reclassified these as "imported for personal use" & issued a show cause notice demand of 35L. Can anyone please help 🙏🏾 @Chinmayi @sanjayuvacha

VIDEO | After attending a forum 'Solidarity with Iran: Children beyond geopolitics' in Mumbai, Major General GD Bakshi (Retd) says, "Donald Trump used to think he can win the war with an intelligent software, he would think he would win in 48 hours, but now 48 days have passed, 107 days have passed, the fight is on... People would think Donald Trump is very powerful. They killed three of our seafarers. We can stand with Iran." #USIranWar

I concur. US has been doing it. A former retired DGMO was denied visa to US for having overseen CI operations in J&K.

New Delhi should consider: - restricting foreign military officers suspected of harming Indian nationals from participating in joint exercises - charging foreign military officers who engage in crimes against Indian nationals, in Indian & relevant foreign courts.

So much for Rubio’s attempt to mend ties with India on his recent trip there. The Trump administration continues to take actions that infuriate India — notably a recent military strike on a commercial ship near Oman that killed three Indian sailors. Now Rubio warns India.

Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive? Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members? Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now? This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.

Spoke to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio this evening. I reiterated India’s strong protest at the attacks by the US Navy in the Gulf that killed three Indian mariners. Such lethal actions against commercial shipping are not justified.

Today, I am sanctioning Cuba’s state-owned energy company, Unión Cuba-Petróleo (CUPET), under President Trump’s EO 14404. Cuba’s Communist elites have weaponized energy as a tool of social control and kleptocratic profit. For decades, the regime has stolen and hoarded available fuel — using it for the Castros’ private jet, the security services forces used to repress the Cuban people, to keep empty tourist hotels lit up, and to bus people in for fake protests and political stunts — all while the Cuban people have suffered blackouts and waited weeks to fill their cars. President Trump wants a new future for the Cuban people with greater economic and political freedom and opportunity. Until then, we will continue to target the Communist regime’s ability to leverage its energy trade to further its corrupt agenda and violently repress the Cuban people.

Today, I’m releasing never before seen intelligence revealing new evidence of past US government funding for more than 120 biolabs in over 30 countries, including Ukraine. In support of President Trump‘s Executive Order to end federal funding of dangerous gain of function research around the world, and increase transparency and accountability, ODNI will continue working with partners across the Administration to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what “research” is being conducted. odni.gov/index.php/newsroom/…

I'm seeing a lot of fake information about a potential deal to reopen the Strait and end Iran's nuclear weapons program. First, the Iranians are not receiving any cash, and no funds are being released for simply signing a deal or attending a meeting. The deal is structured to ensure that the US and its allies concerns are prioritized, and that if the Islamic Republic of Iran meets its obligations, then economic benefits will flow to them and to the entire region. This deal has the potential to remake the region and lead to lasting peace. I've noticed a couple of bizarre things in the reporting over the last few hours. First, people who (rightly) said Donald Trump was a historic president a month ago now criticizing a deal based on unconfirmed media reports. Second, people who say you can't trust a word said by the IRGC who apparently believe anonymously sourced social media posts. The president is going to get us a good outcome, one way or the other.

Today, the FBI is announcing Operation Riptide, an ongoing, coordinated law enforcement campaign targeting cybercriminal actors and the key services they rely on—their infrastructure, their tools and services, their communications platforms, and their money. Operation Riptide is a collective effort that implements the priorities set out in Executive Order 14390 and the National Cyber Strategy. In recent weeks, the FBI carried out a broad range of enforcement actions against cyber threat actors, serving search warrants, securing indictments, arresting suspects, and dismantling criminal infrastructure. This marks the beginning of a focused, sustained 60-day national effort. Cybercrime carries real-world consequences, and the FBI remains committed to disrupting malicious cyber activity and holding cybercriminals accountable.
