Young people are dying, the public is at risk and the police are trying to find the best and safest way to stop these bikes which can reach 60-70mph.

The moment when the St Athan crew located an elderly male lost near Gloucester. He was 6kms from any road so we elected to land on, pick him up and fly him to safety. He was a little cold, but well when we got to him and at 85, thrilled to have his first helicopter flight! ^KF^JS

We're seeking dashcam after a man was threatened and forced into a vehicle in Lufton Way, Yeovil, at 8.35pm on Sunday. He was later found safe.

The driver of this car was seen speeding through #Taunton @ASPWestSom last night. Vehicle stopped where checks found it was on false plates & the driver had no licence or insurance. Second set of false plates were discovered in the boot.

We've teamed up with Heartsafe to install life-saving bleed kits alongside community defibrillators across our policing area.
We’re finalising plans to roll out kits this autumn but two kits are now available at St Agnes Church, St Pauls & Easton Community Centre #Bristol.

3 hour journey which turned into 7 hours from st Ives today… the amount of people driving without light was crazy… hanging is an understatement!! Never driving on the A30 again or visiting Exeter services! Took me over 1 hour to get out of the services 😬😬😬

We're currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in the Hartcliffe area.
Road closures are in place on Anton Bantock Way between the junctions of Queen's Road and Whitchurch Lane and on Hareclive Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Emergency services were called to the Southgate Street area of Bath at about 3.30am today (Sat 6 May) after a man was injured. Sadly he died at the scene.
Three people have been arrested.
A scene remains in place and extra patrols planned.
