Eye-opening study on Eosinophilic Oesophagitis in Irish adults! 🇮🇪 Real-world oesophageal biopsy approaches in EoE are often suboptimal and may contribute to delayed diagnosis. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…

Replying to @LayaHealthcare
@LayaHealthcare can you tell us why you’ve refused cover for what is EMA approved, evidence based, clinician prescribed, covered by other Irish insurers, and standard of care in other EUcountries? Better still can you reconsider & #DoTheRightThing for @BernardPMahon & others
My name is Bernard, living in Ireland. I have stage 4 stomach cancer. My medical consultants recommend Immunotherapy and chemotherapy. Despite best scientific and clinical evidence, my Irish healthcare insurer won't fund this. Am I alone?

A low-key kick-off to our Irish campaign 1) for all Irish health insurers to provide access to cancer immunotherapies recommended by our oncologists immediately; 2) for fair access to immunotherapies in the public system; 3) Ireland to tax plan for future CAR-T & miRNA therapy.
