We’re not covering the World Cup this summer. We’re covering The World’s Cup.
We were on the beaches in Brazil in 2014. The streets of Moscow in 2018. But in 2022, we did something different. We went thousands of miles from the stadium, deep into Argentina, to show what the tournament actually does to the people who live for it. We found something so special that we’re doing it again. Even bigger.
So while the matches themselves unfold in the US, Canada and Mexico, we’ll be showing how they are experienced everywhere else - in Baghdad, Tashkent, Asunción, Praia and far beyond. The World Cup doesn’t only belong to the host nations. It belongs to everyone who lives for it.
Stay tuned, something very special is on the way.

Aaaaand now the World Cup can begin. Was worried we wouldn't have @ElMengem buzzing between barbershops, bus stops and markets giving us the authentic, alternative stories... Phew.

They played the Champions League last 8 and years later were down on the third tier, their owner fleeing the country. Somehow they climbed at the last minute to Segunda and now are fighting for a return to LaLiga. One of Pasión best stories could become real and it's crazy.

I visited @CDCastellon for Pasión, spoke with the wonderful @brunoalemany and @RafaelEscrig and about the @FEDPECAS orellut spirit and @haralabob and the feeling in Castalia was that they were just grateful to be back in Segunda after so many years. Now they dream of La Liga.
