Director George Miller recently visited Los Angeles to pitch what heβs framing as one final Mad Max movie (tentatively referred to as Mad Max: The Wasteland) along with a related TV series.
Warner Bros., the longtime home of the franchise, passed on the project. The decision is mainly attributed to the box-office underperformance of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
But other major studios are showing interest:
