This stunning bluebell wood, home to badger, red kite, buzzard, roe deer, tawny owl, barn owl, & Barbastelle bat, will become a noise & light polluted, litter strewn sideshow to @NorfolkCC’s #NorwichWesternLink road if they get their way. Don’t let this happen @NaturalEngland

Dandelions are one of the most important early spring flowers. Please let them grow.
Next year, please let the dandelions grow! They support over 50 insects species. They're a great early season food source for pollinators including bees, butterflies and hoverflies. No need to mow. And please don't use weedkiller. RT if you're on board 🐝

We need to import asparagus crowns. Anyone had experience of import declarations and peach pre notifications? First impression is that it’s complicated. Wondering whether to engage an agent. Thank you

#COP26 absolutely failed to promote one of the easiest ways we can all help the environment. Buy local!🇬🇧 Why are we importing our food from thousands of miles away when there is a perfectly fine alternative available from down the road? Shop local!

Cuckmere Haven in East Sussex photographed this afternoon. It was a beautiful day. Local Tory MPs voted yesterday to allow raw sewage to be dumped into this water with no penalties to the water companies. I think this is immoral. An RT would be nice if you agree.

Milk or plant-based drinks? If you combine the healthiness and nutrient content with the ecological impact (CO2) then milk is not bad at all. Actually, milk comes out better than plant-based imitations. Want to know why and how? Read researchgate.net/publication…

Growing British asparagus is a labour of love. Each spear is cut by hand when it reaches *just* the right height. 🌞

Simply steamed British asparagus with a little (or a lot of…!) salted butter is one of life’s great pleasures. 💚

💚 Asparagus is now in season in the U.K. so make the most of this delicious and tender vegetable while it’s available. Eating seasonally means tasting fruit & veg when it’s at its very best 🥰 #SupportBritishFarmers
