In May and June, The InterPlex was invited to attend and deliver talks at a series of fascinating, collaborative, and impactful conferences and institutional visits in Spain, Italy, and Germany.
From Germany we finally returned to our headquarters in Boston to attend the dynamic @NetSciConf, organized by the @netscisociety and @Northeastern's @NUnetsi.
We thank all of our hosts, and look forward to sharing new ideas and collaborations that emerged from these visits.
We also attended a “Football Analytics” workshop in Madrid centered around complex networks, data science, and soccer, organized by Buldú and other members of his research team, such as Julieta Schwartz Cerveny, and @LaLiga.
1/ "We try to embrace the full spectrum,” says Italian physicist and complexity scientist @ciro. In a new InterDialogue, Cattuto reflects on the evolution of computational social science and the interdisciplinary vision guiding his work as Scientific Director of @ISI_Fondazione.
7/ The InterPlex is in attendance alongside many researchers working at the frontiers of network science, epidemiology, computational social science, and AI. We look forward to sharing some of the conversations emerging from the conference with the InterPlex community.
