1:56 is world class. You need to understand—100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 5000, 10000, 110mh, 400mh—athletes that win any are truly world class.
🚨 #NCAATF Women's 800m 📝 There are few performances that are hard to truly wrap your head around...but this is one of them. 1:56.85 for 800m is beyond insane. It's unfathomable. It's one thing to break Athing Mu's record, but to essentially smash it is mind-boggling. What a run by Sanu Jallow. Truly a historic performance that required pure guts and courage. Just incredible raw fitness. I really feel for Penn State's Hayley Kitching. She ran 1:57 to slightly dip under the former record, but she won't get the attention that she deserves for it. An outstanding outing by her.

10.88seconds for Shenese Walker of Florida State to win the 100m at the NCAA Championship. The athlete since Julien Alfred to win the 60m and 100m in the same season.

Could that other something be the Hayward Field track? It was resurfaced last fall and this is the first truly high-level sprint meet Hayward has hosted since then. instagram.com/p/DP1uDgED55F/

If you thought the men went crazy last night… Tonight will be even warmer in Eugene. Tactical distance races inbound and the sprints should be incredible🔥🔥🔥

Look at this early callout. Ogazi was very good early on and is still only 20!

Comme ancien hurdler qui se trouvait trop petit je cherchais des modèles, il n’est venu qu’en 2004 avec Charles Allen 1.75m 13.23, et puis maintenant il n’y a vraiment plus d’excuses:

🚨 #NCAATF Men's 5k 📝 I really hope the greatness of Habtom Samuel doesn't get lost in history. He's insanely talented, but the recent development of his tactics and kick is tremendous. I don't know how you beat this guy over 10k and 5k anymore. Just an unreal talent.

Tough time to be an athlete in the 110mH. If this continues then Sub13 could become the new norm.
