Rome is often compared to modern America. History rhymes. We examine a pair of decaying superpowers, perhaps doomed to collapse. In this thread, I will explore 2 questions: What are the parallels? Major differences? When can we expect to find our CAESAR?

This woman needs to be deported
I am 52 years old. I have been working since I was 15 years old. I have no savings, no retirement, and will never own a home before I die. And there is now a trillionaire.

We should live in a "republic", a military aristocracy where only landowners and fighting men are able to vote. Return to tradition. The government should also restructure public education to train young men to be elite athletes, and provide government-funded shooting ranges.
You should lose the ability to vote after 65. Same as a child can't be trusted to make voting decisions for the future of the country. Boomers are incapable of voting in a way that benefits the future of the country.

No we're going to ITAR Silicon Valley and force American companies to hire American workers. You tech nerds are not getting out of this. The days of cheap foreign labor displacing American geniuses are finished.
What comes next: The govt will rollout an emergency citizenship program for any foreign-born employee working in a lab contingent on them immediately moving to the U.S. Everyone will be heavily vetted via the same screening construct already utilized by the defense primes. Google will have to move the entirety of DeepMind to the U.S. and fire whoever refuses to relocate. People will gleefully assume Demis will just start his own UK lab instead before realizing the next step is the US is about to gut foreign “unmonitored” access to compute. You can pull a LeCun but you won’t have sufficient compute to do shit. Greencards will be given to family members too. Foreign govts will freak out when they realize what is happening. We are gatekeeping and hoarding intelligence preemptively. Why? Because by GPT 7 France will be like “oh you just destroyed our services sector we are going to tax the labs to pay for the necessary benefits to prevent riots” and it’s a lot easier to do that if labs have critical employees based in Paris. Ditto for every other foreign nation. Anyone acting like this is surprising is simply incapable of thinking four steps ahead. We are going to see industries nuked over night. There will be civil unrest. The only way to navigate that is to tax and gatekeep. The only way you can tax something is if it lives in your borders. We are repatriating exposure points preemptively. Compute gatekeeping comes next. 🫡

Deport!
London — Muslim public workers paid by taxpayers for @harrow_council make violent threats to severely injure a man. They turn off their body cameras as they make the threats & say they can leverage their relationship with @metpoliceuk to injure him.

Foreigners should never be put in a position of authority to bully and suppress the public, one of the classical signs of tyranny.

have you considered deporting the Pakistani rape gangs?
He is literally inciting racist pogroms on our streets using the communications platform he bought because he has too much money. Musk is actively making black & brown people physically unsafe in their homes with his trillions. Ask them what difference it makes to their lives🙄

Careers and the economy became a giant game of "wait your turn" the second boomers took power everywhere at 30 and they've spent the past 50-60 years making sure their turn lasts forever or that those who get it next are incompetent to the point it kills everything.

maybe it's the Pakistani rape gangs and Somalian machete attacks?
What is happening in the UK is entirely the result of allowing the Daily Mail, GB News, Nigel Farage, Tommy Robinson, Andrew Tate, and all the others to spew their bile to hundeds of thousands every single day.

I wonder whether they are laying the groundwork to admit that the Covid pandemic was caused by American biolabs
🧵 Here is the TRUTH: Dangerous gain-of-function research was funded by the U.S. government around the world, directed and approved by people like Dr Fauci. @DNIGabbard exposed that yesterday. Using U.S. government data, put together and uncovered by career subject matter experts in the Intelligence Community and other government agencies, yesterday’s release highlighted one example of the many overseas biolabs funded by the U.S., the research conducted there, and the significant risks they pose to the world, especially when located in a country at war. 🔗 dni.gov/files/BIOLAB_Slides.…
