After a year of development, Pangea is finally on the App Store. With Pangea, we're hoping to manage the change and complexity of EV charging, and keep it simple for you. We're still at the beginning of our journey, but we hope to make charging undeniably simple for everyone.

This feature is pretty remarkable, btw. It's striking how convincing it is. Apple has cooked up some dark magic on Vision Pro.
#wwdc26

RIP Marcia Lucas, ex wife of George Lucas and Oscar Winner for her editing of Star Wars. She let rip on the Disney Sequels and every single word was true. They never did call her.

RIP. There would be exactly no Star Wars without her.

One of the sweetest things I’ve ever read. You don’t need Japanese in order to get what’s going on here (though it does make it cuter)

Lots of big tank explosions on both coasts this week...

Miyajima, just off of Hiroshima, is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in Japan. I was so lucky I got to see it with @BrainEngineer & @gtmulligan.

There must be a talent bias against the "enhanced", where if you need the drugs to compete, you're probably not that good to begin with. The genuine champions will always have the advantage.

The world owes this man a tremendous debt.
Toshifumi Suzuki, the "father of the conbini" and the man who created the modern Japanese convenience store, has died at the age of 93. He set up the 7-Eleven chain of convenience stores in Japan in the 1970s and came up with the idea of selling onigiri, before being ousted in a power struggle in 2016.

Frankly Fukuyama is a great watch every week when he posts something new. youtube.com/@ffukuyam
Francis Fukuyama on the U.S. as a declining power: American decline is a direct product of Trump's rise since 2016. It is as if Trump had decided to do everything in his power to weaken the United States vis-à-vis China. He has polarized an already polarized country, cut funding for basic scientific research, and attacked American universities which are the best in the world. He and his colleagues have openly stated that their domestic opponents — the Democrats — are a far greater threat to the future of the United States than either China or Russia. There is agreement among America's friends and rivals that the United States has become something of a rogue state that is contributing to global instability and disorder — as well as something of a laughingstock.
