Jim Acosta testifies that we need media "led by the people" (the non-corporate left): "One of my favorite options there on the media diet is public broadcasting, PBS and NPR. I'd be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to my friends in public broadcasting. Donald Trump on that Truth Social post that I put up there, he celebrates defunding PBS and NPR."

When they don’t like his White House renovations they cry “look what he’s doing to the people’s house!” But when he brings the people’s sports —like UFC and motocross — to the White House, they call it “degrading” and sniff: “I remember we when we had presidents who brought great poets and choreographers and composers. The elite contempt for Trump’s only exceeded by their contempt for regular Americans.
David Brooks reacts to the upcoming UFC fight at the White House, "I first thought of, like, who are the artists John F. Kennedy brought to the White House? It was like W.H. Auden, Robert Frost, Jerome Robbins, Leonard Bernstein. And now we have got cage fighting. Don't anybody say America's in cultural decline." Jonathan Capehart adds "talk about degrading the culture. This is degrading the White House, degrading the people's house. And it's just unconscionable that this has happened."

10 to 1 sounds high.
The media treat Republicans and Democrats differently. Probably because for every Republican in a newsroom, there are TEN Democrats.

Because they said they couldn't convict a black man even if he was guilty. They said that. This isn't hard.
CBS Los Angeles spreads suspicion about the striking of black jurors in the Karmelo Anthony case: "How is that even legal in 2026?" "It's very eyebrow-raising"

After the Knicks won, at the watch party I was at, someone yelled out, “Zionist!” I looked at the TV, but it had just switched views. “Who’s the Zionist?” I asked. “Timothée Chalamet.” As I looked at him, I noticed he was wearing a keffiyeh. He’d gotten there late but managed to make his mark on the evening 🙄

Any court that rules against a Democrat is a “rogue court.”
Pete Buttigieg: “We have to deal with a Supreme Court that is now a rogue Supreme Court. It’s time to think big. Nowhere in the constitution does it say there have to be nine justices. We could have 13 seats.” Thoughts?

ABC News and Disney are currently claiming to the FCC that this show is a “bona fide news program”
ABC News claims Trump is going to stay in office past the end of his second term. Whoopi says the people need to "stand together" and do something to stop Trump or else "we're going to find ourselves another four years of this insanity."

What socialism reliably produces, when imposed, is not equality but a closed caste. The Soviet nomenklatura had its sealed stores, hospitals, schools, and dachas. The Chinese Communist Party’s “princelings”—Xi Jinping among them—inherited political position as straightforwardly as any Habsburg. North Korea has produced three generations of Kims; the Castros gave Cuba six decades of dynastic rule. The empirical record is uncontested: every long-running communist regime has frozen its founding elite into a hereditary aristocracy. The system that promised to abolish class only ever abolished the class mobility that threatens its rulers.
Over 4000 workers just became millionaires by owning the means of production and the socialists are pissed

On Newsmax, we discussed the UFC event at the White House. For those of us who watch the media, the best part is watching the MELTDOWNS of people like Lawrence O'Donnell, who find the whole thing "despicably vulgar"! He melted down like the end of "Raiders of the Last Ark"!

Comparing Trump's name coming off the Kennedy Center to the Berlin Wall coming down has to be the Worst Historical Analogy of 2026.
After livestreaming all day and night trying to see Trump’s name being removed from the Kennedy Center building, Jim Acosta exclaims: “This is very much like watching the Berlin Wall coming down." "It is a sign that humankind can stand up against tyranny." Holy hell. Just absolutely incredible journalisming.
