Europe after America elects a stupid president: "We'll never forgive you. The trust is broken." The US after Europe elects multiple dictators and starts a world war that kills tens of millions: "Ok, glad that's over. Let's spend billions of my money to get you back to normal"

Getting a cup of tea would be worth selling out "Palestine" lol
Hope the ministerial car was worth selling out the Palestinian people.

American food is great.
Replying to @Timstillherelol
It's not banter just American trying to justify their ultra processed food lifestyle. Being very defensive, which says it all.

Banning under-16s from YouTube mostly means banning them from logging in, which means YouTube will treat them less like kids and more like anonymous adults. Great job, UK.

You didn't understand the post, because banter, like swearing, is a British culture that you guys can't comprehend, only try to counterfeit.

Green bean casserole is delicious
Replying to @mulberryjane
Weird. Also, green bean casserole is not a casserole and is revolting.

You were just in Mecca where it is quite literally illegal for non-Muslims to even visit.

In Finland, our draft system is simple: every adult male serves. If you do not show up, the police will bring you in. In peacetime. In wartime, it gets harsher. Nobody asks if you feel like it. That is the price of living next to russia.

I think people aren't against trying to protect kids on the internet. I think they're against the idea of a digital ID that has implications for civil liberty and privacy.
If you're an adult raging on X about the ban on social media for under-16 kids, then you need your hard drive checked.
Community note
Opposition to the UK's under-16 social media policy stems from documented concerns over mandatory age verification, privacy risks, and enforcement inconsistencies, per official briefings and consultations. commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-brief… gov.uk/government/con…

No you didn't. First of all, only the Eastern states were settled by the British. Florida, California, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas were Spanish colonies. Louisiana all the way up to the upper Midwest was French and then Scandinavian. You don't know America at all

Suddenly Brits can't handle the banter
American food posts are so annoying because they can’t just say “oh, you do it that way? But we prefer it another way!”. They all have to take that patronising “oh you poor dear, gosh do you not know about heating???” tone, then they get surprised when people react poorly to it
