$ASTS I built a tool to collect and analyze data for new satellite deployments as the company builds out its network over the next few years. It is available to all spacemob members at astsats.com

$ASTS it wasn't such a bad trading day for me after all since I successfully hedged my ASTN position selling VSAT Calls near the top of the market this morning, averaging down my ASTN, then exited ASTN near the end of the day😉 I'll probably get back into ASTN on a day-trading basis, rather than holding overnight or weekends, but lesson-learned and happy to both experience and provide some entertainment today🤣

Waiting for $SPCX S-1 analysis from Tim Farrar. I’m told he just needs AskJeeves to relaunch (he doesn’t have anything else in his favorites bar and doesn’t know how to navigate away from his homepage).

$ASTS: On January 14, 2025, @TMFAssociates, Expert Consultant, said, "Nope, a [GIA] waiver is not an acceptable way for AST to gain approval for further launches." And then the FCC literally approves AST's SCS application in its entirety, INCLUDING the GIA waiver that Dim Farrar claimed was not possible. docs.fcc.gov/public/attachme… x.com/TMFAssociates/status/1…
Nope, a waiver is not an acceptable way for AST to gain approval for further launches. The conditions in AST’s approval specifically require an application *under the [GIA] framework* in SCS order paras 88-139. The possibility of a waiver is only in para 56 of the SCS order.

A photo of every person who tips their DoorDash driver under 3% and are currently in an awful speakeasy in Greenpoint where an aperol spritz is $31. Great profile @dfinzer you seem really cool man. $SEA
This VF photo and article ("Crypto’s True Believers Demand to Be Taken Seriously") feel so off to me and I was trying to figure out why. I think it's because it feels like something that was written in the 2018 era of crypto -- where belief was almost everything the industry had going for it. blockchains and tokens were live but mostly just to gamble with. so a photoshoot that portrays crypto people as this excentric rag tag group who somehow still hang on to their weird ideals even as prices crash made sense back then. But not today.

$ASTS We have new TLE data since the company “unfold” (sorry @thekookreport) announcement and my Hidden Markov Model identified the event correctly.

So I built the other modifiers into my model and found that eccentricity isn’t as important as I thought. And then became more convinced I was wrong after the redditor scoped out the satellite and reported 4 days before the company announcement. Oh well!

From here, we retrain and weight the model with the new BB6 data to use for BB7 and build out a multi-step-unfold detection mechanism. Maybe we build a parsing tool for the more frequent (but dirty) sup-go data. Onward to the next 240 (plus the others shells innit?)

Since everyone is on their phones, I think Super Bowl advertising time is too expensive. This is the only ad my wife talked about (despite it being her saying “I thought it was another T-mobile ad). I don’t think anyone will see this and buy $XRP but it made me talk about it.
I loved the idea for our Super Bowl ad as soon as the team showed it to me. It's unique, just like our QR code ad in 2022. Most people half watch commercials (buzzed, in a loud room, with lots of people). It takes something unique to break through. Turning 100M screens into karaoke, so the whole U.S. (and many around the world) can sing in unison, is an antidote to polarization and just plain fun. Everybody deserves economic freedom.

The man who bought a whole ass dinosaur and a copy of the constitution has an opinion on reckless spending.
NOW - Citadel CEO Ken Griffin: "The area of recklessness is the spending of governments around the world, who are all, with little exception, all spending well beyond their means... The world needs a savior, and the hope is that AI is the savior that we need for productivity."
