Shinnecock Hills is one of the world's greatest championship tests and perhaps America's most rugged U.S. Open venue. On the latest episode of All Grass Is Local presented by @ToroGolf, we went behind the scenes with the agronomy team at Shinnecock to find out how Superintendent Jon Jennings and his team maintain such high standards on such an extreme site.

A few new shots from The Creek, a popular request and a personal favorite, designed and built by Charles Blair Macdonald and Seth Raynor, respectively. Blessed with two of the very best holes on Long Island - the par-4 punchbowl 6th and the par-3 island Biarritz 11th - the Creek also benefits from a gorgeous location, with 13 of its holes on a north-facing downward slope that planes away toward the Sound.

Two years ago, Tom Doak added an original design to the Cradle of American Golf when Pinehurst Resort unveiled the new No. 10 course. It’s a stunner that has exceeded lofty expectations, with many players preferring Doak’s design to the recently renovated No. 4 and even Donald Ross’s famed No. 2. Best of all, the success of No. 10 has paved the way for the No. 11 course by Coore & Crenshaw on the same part of the Sandmines property.

Gil Hanse was given unlimited resources and an old lemon grove in the California desert. This is what he came back with. Join the BTS in May to experience Ladera—one of the toughest tee times brought to you by Eddie Cue and Irv Azoff.

I recently had the chance to play the much-anticipated High Grove Golf Club, a new private course by Gil Hanse & Jim Wagner in rural (and hilly!) central Florida. Here's my review for @GolfPass: golfpass.com/travel-advisor/…

I don’t care about draft picks. There is absolutely no way I’d want the @giants to ever lose the Dallas

No filter. No editing. 😍 Turf so clean you feel guilty taking a divot. Hard to believe this is a real place and not AI. Pictures are great yet don’t do it justice at all.

Selling the benefits of a renovation can be challenging, especially when the majority of the work is underground. Our latest video supported by the @USGAGrnSection shares how Bill Cygan was able to connect the dots between the seen and unseen to help move their project forward at Silver Spring. There a quite a few top 100 golf courses in Northern New Jersey...North Jersey Country Club may not be one of them, but it's a gem that is worthy of some high praise..this original Walter Travis design has recently been restored by Brian Schneider.
