If you think Chip Roy (and I’m a huge fan for the record) lost because of Big Solar political spending you clearly haven’t been following the consistent pattern of outcomes this primary season in GOP races. Also, I don’t see how the outcome of the OBBB was a “sucker punch”…

It's time to end the Jones Act once and for all...
New Jones Act waiver data just dropped. Now up to 45 voyages — still no Chinese ships.

Allied heroism brought an end to the European theater of World War II on this day in 1945, but this victory could not have been achieved without American energy.

Like Europe, California is facing an energy crisis due to its anti-oil-and-gas policies, which are resulting in refinery closures, declining state oil production, and overreliance on imports, particularly for gasoline, a boutique fuel with specific requirements.
False. Just 15% of CA primary energy consumption comes from ‘renewables.’ More than 75% of CA energy consumption is from oil and gas — that’s higher than the national rate. It is true that CA has embraced anti-hydrocarbon policies. The result? CA has the highest electricity rates in the continental U.S., the highest gas prices, and the highest adjusted poverty rate in America. I wouldn’t be bragging if that was my state.

If politicians want the grid’s conditions to remain out of sight and out of mind for most Americans, they should stop pursuing energy policy as if winter conditions are anomalous. Read the full Fueling the Conversation by @TomJPyle: instituteforenergyresearch.o…

It was an honor to speak to many of our domestic and international nuclear industry partners this morning. Conversations like these are vital to ensuring we learn from our allies so nuclear can continue to grow and expand. @EPRINC_DC @IERenergy

For years now, affordability and reliability in states run by Democratic governors has played second fiddle to “greening” the grid. When a winter storm inevitably hits in these regions, utilities have to scramble to provide firm power to prevent outages.

The evidence is clear, there is no statistically significant correlation between the number of data centers in a state and its current electricity prices. In fact, prices in the top ten data center states are virtually identical to the average across other states.
Read between the lines. NJ electricity bills have been driven up by chasing Green New Scam unicorns while shuttering reliable coal and LNG fired power plants. The answer to lower electric bills from the “experts” after the state forced people to electrify everything from cars to weed-whackers to BBQ grills: Use less electricity. patch.com/new-jersey/across-…
