To everyone at CSIRO: thank you for the incredible work you do on the huge challenges we face. Ongoing job losses at our national science agency are the result of chronic underfunding. The Government must halt and reverse the real terms decline in CSIRO's appropriation in the budget next week. canberratimes.com.au/story/9…

I have done interviews with ABC and SBS today and voiced my absolute disgust in the NACC findings. I do not accept that Katherine Campbell and Scott Morrison have been set free and I do not accept that there are no real consequences!!!

BREAKING: THIS WAS THE MOMENT THE MASK CAME OFF. Ben Habib closed with a warning that cut straight to the core: There can be no good in the richest people on earth meeting the most powerful people on earth — behind closed doors, with no agenda, no minutes, and no public scrutiny. That is the World Economic Forum. What we’re seeing with Mandelson, Habib said, is only the tip of the iceberg. A man repeatedly resurrected by the system. Shielded. Ennobled. Installed. Not because he serves the people — but because the establishment is rotten to its core. A political class that takes money from foreign billionaires to speak at elite global forums is not governing a nation. It is managing its collapse. This was not rhetoric. It was an accusation. And a final reminder: Britain will not be saved by closed rooms, global elites, or unelected power. It will only be saved when the public finally says: enough. @benhabib6 @_AdvanceUK

Today we're remembering Margaret Whitlam, who passed away 13 years ago today 💛 A prolific writer, competitive Australian swimmer, social worker, trailblazing reformer, and iconic feminist. #auspol #whitlaminstitute

Can someone tell Patricia Karvelas, Jane Norman and David Speers? @abcnews
FWIW, my story on Peter Dutton's property portfolio was NOT information from a Labor "dirt unit". December 23 was when I asked the Age's Library to start pulling ASIC company records (see below) and Feb 7 was when I contacted the Clerk's office to look at his register.

We’ve just passed legislation to establish an independent National Student Ombudsman. Not enough has been done to address sexual violence in our universities and for too long students haven’t been heard. This will give students a stronger voice when the worst happens.

Message to whoever runs the ads on here. We weren’t interested in the crap products when the ads were normal size, and you may be surprised to know that making the ads larger doesn’t make us any more interested in them

Watching the BBC coverage of the people throwing mud at the King of Spain. I dont believe any government is prepared for the forces global warming has unleashed. Almost no politicians understand the climate crisis - or the anger. Only 10% of UK MPs even attended a briefing on it.

Peter Dutton confirming that as prime monster he'll use the Australian constitution to force his nuclear reactors on states like Queensland, even if premiers & communities are opposed. Any resistance is a moot point. #qldpol
