Finished a great week of camp. Loved the competitiveness, togetherness, and fun our youth players and high school players exhibited! Great energy!

It should be criminal what @NikeGirlsEYBL charges college coaches for their events. 💸 The costs keep going up and up, yet the teams play on non-wood courts that in Phoenix literally were falling apart and needed to be sledgehammered together between games. College coaches are lucky to get a bottle of water and a granola bar at EYBL events, while @UANextGHoops and @3SSBGCircuit feed their coaches full meals and charge half the price. EYBL is also the only shoe circuit who does not have their games up on Synergy. The price gouging by AAU needs to change 🤷‍♂️

Had a chance to get back to some highlight videos of our players and today's video is of sophomore @VadaSousek. Vada continues to show growth. New opportunities exist and can't wait to see what happens!

Coach we had the same thing in KS 3 years ago. “It’s too expensive” “We won’t be able to find ppl” “Bad shots” “Too much time at table figuring it out.” 2 years in now and none of that is an issues and the naysayers all even like it. People don’t like Change.

Wisconsin high school athletic leaders must step up and approve a shot clock.

Year 1 fully in for 4A-6A in Kansas. Don’t know any coach against it now. The concern some had was taking away “strategy.” They found it actually increased strategy. Can stick with a conservative defense longer if behind. Can still “burn” time, just with a late clock plan. Etc.

I’ve had 14-year olds run the clock for a pro game! The amazing one was a woman did the book, clock and shot clock! The problem is we want perfect or nothing…of course there will be mistakes. There are clock mistakes without a shot clock. Doesn’t mean it’s not worth it.

Cmon Wisconsin… 😂. For the amount of “professional development” meetings teachers are required to attend throughout the year to learn/incorporate new teaching methods, you can’t convince me it’s too much to ask 1 person to learn to operate a shot clock 💯.

Our next video is of sophomore Laney Sitek. Laney is quick, athletic, smart, and plays with high effort. Laney is also a willing leader. Her opportunity is coming! Can't wait to see what she does with it because she is ready.

Our next videos will be of our sophomore players starting with @KinnleyFulcer. No one will outwork Kinnley. She cares & keeps getting better. This year she always provided a spark especially vs zones. Her future is bright!

Claudia is what high school athletics is about. Worked her tail off, paid her dues, and when her time came she shined. So proud of you @ClaudiaAsman!

One of the best kids I’ve ever gotten the privilege to coach. Emily would do whatever was needed, no questions asked! College soccer player, but a dang good basketball player.

All of these tournament games change the last 6-8 minutes. HS varsity basketball should be played with a shot clock.
