A warm trend is expected through the weekend into next week as high temperatures for portions of the Lower Columbia Basin may reach into the low-90s. #wawx #orwx
Graphic on the right shows the chance of high temperatures reaching 90 or greater on Monday, with values above 50% over the Tri-Cities and The Dalles areas and above 25% through the Yakima Valley. The second graphic highlights high and low temperatures through Tuesday, which shows a warming trend extending through the weekend as high temperatures approach the upper 80s for areas across the Columbia Basin on Sunday.

Widespread rain returns to the area with a frontal passage on Tue, 3/24. Here's a forecast loop showing precipitation timing. Increasing S to SW winds will also accompany this frontal passage, with peak wind gusts as high as 40-50 mph at the coast & 25-35 mph for inland valleys.
