Something I have wanted to put out in the world for a long time is finally out there. Feels good! This is my favorite book of all time...but it has been out of print for decades. It is back now...with a lot of improvements and added pictures too! Wisdom of the Ages: A Modern Revival Look for it on Amazon in hardcover, paperback & Kindle.

The ability to be bored is just… gone. Every free second gets filled now scrolling, swiping, checking random sh*t for no reason. Waiting in line? just take the phone out. Sitting alone? Gotta watch something. Even walking in silence feels off. Like our brains need noise just to function. But man, boredom used to mean something. That space where nothing was happening? That’s where your thoughts actually showed up. Where ideas came from. Where you figured yourself out a bit. Now it’s just endless content, fake stimulation, zero stillness.

Unpopular opinion: Not everything needs to be monetized. You can just build stuff for the purpose of learning. What happened to hobby projects?

Just met some NYC kids running a TikTok posting farm out of their startup office. They’re responsible for 1/10 of ALL TikToks uploaded daily. They’re selling CPMs for brand awareness at 1/6 the cost of TikTok & IG ads… and using AI to generate tens of thousands of unique content to create awareness and sell products. These are the people you’re competing with in ecom in 2025. Good luck.

AI won't replace entire profession, but it's replacing the bottom 20-80% in {translation, design, coding, content, marketing, sales, design, operation, account, law} Micro teams like mine beat corporations because AI brings huge leverage for A players Real examples of AI:

The M1 MacBooks are some of the best products Apple has ever made. I've had mine for almost 3.5 years now and I can't find a single reason to upgrade. It's fast, really fast, it has a fantastic display, speakers are great, battery life is good. They absolutely cooked.

Best time ever to do your own thing. - AI tools give everyone superpowers to build - You can go really far without raising any money - 1-2 person team is more than enough No boss, no direct reports, just do your own thing.
