“Strip away the oracle mechanics and one fact survives: Strategy sold Bitcoin before May 31. Everyone who bought YES predicted the future correctly, and the market told them they were wrong. A prediction market is supposed to price what will happen; when resolution diverges from what actually happened, the product is merely pricing how the platform will read its own rules after the fact. That’s worthless.”

This is exactly why prediction market resolution rules need to be transparent, immutable, and onchain from day one, not applied after the fact. @Trueo_ is building the crypto truth market: fully onchain, yield-bearing, on Base. trueo.com

Kalshi and Polymarket paid affiliated creators to post about prediction market odds. Some of those creators published election fraud claims with Paid Partnership badges attached while those elections were being traded on the platforms.
Why have Kalshi and Polymarket been paying election deniers like this J6er to post about the Los Angeles mayoral race and call its legitimacy into question? (notice the "Paid Partnership" badge on the lower left)

Polymarket just produced a market for whether the Zcash bug had been exploited in the wild. We created the same market yesterday. I’ll let yall decide which rules are better. FYI, I was able to generate our rules with a single prompt. And soon anyone will be to able as well.

Polymarket listed a World Cup market called "Top Goalscorer." The rules specified tiebreakers: penalty goals counted first, then alphabetical order. At some point after positions were open, the market title changed to "Golden Boot." The Golden Boot is an official FIFA award. Its tiebreaker is most assists, not penalties, not alphabetical. The rules text was not updated.
Polymarket are secretly creating rule/title mismatches in $2M vol markets Before today this market was; “Top Goalscorer” w/ the tiebreak rules outlined (Penalties & Alphabetical) The market title has now been changed to “Golden Boot” — this award has a unique, built-in TB rule

The reply chain produced a counterargument: the FIFA assist tiebreaker almost never triggers, so the discrepancy is unlikely to matter in practice. @0xBel_ was tagged for clarification but as of June 7, no public response from Polymarket. The title has not been confirmed changed back. x.com/TheNotoriousSKi/status…

Hello @0xBel_ can you please fix by changing the title back? Thank you very much.

For context: on Trueo, a market's title, resolution criteria, and approved data sources are committed onchain at the time of creation. They cannot be modified after trading begins. The current World Cup "Golden Boot" market on Polymarket has $2M in open volume under rules that no longer match the title. The market is still live. x.com/izebel_eth/status/2062…

dont let a celebrity border collie with 1.5m followers being stolen and eaten distract you from the fact that polymarket stole hundreds of thousands from users on the may microstratregy market

The market doesn't exist because nobody was allowed to create it.
You wanna bet on a market that doesn’t exist. On @Trueo_ you create it in seconds. Once it graduates, you share it around. The trading fees? They’re yours to keep. Bet on your beliefs, and your own markets.
