Elon Musk held up a chainsaw, fed USAID into the wood chipper, and at least 600,00 people have already died as a result - two-thirds of them children. History's first trillionaire.

CNN aired a montage of Trump’s past claims that the U.S. was on the cusp of a deal with Iran, with Anderson Cooper noting that today’s announcement marks the 39th time he’s made a similar claim.

Cody Campbell’s country club buddy gets assigned the case to grant the injunction. Now an AG who is funded by Cody Campbell is preemptively threatening lawsuits against the conference. Cody Campbell is the example of everything wrong with college sports, and America as a whole.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Paxton's involvement....

Would Mika like to elaborate on the timeline of her relationship with her co-host, since we’re holding people to saintly standards here?
MIKA: Given your sexting, can you call for the release of the Epstein files and not be conflicted in any way? PLATNER: Yes, of course. I engaged in consensual romantic activities with adults at an earlier part of my life. That seems like a fairly normal thing most people do. Going to an island with billionaires to possibly assault children is a vastly, vastly different thing.

The World Cup begins tomorrow, and many will watch the matches. Soccer reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off on our own, but a path we learn to walk together. Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, has not yet understood the game. Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood life. #ApostolicJourney

No, gay people are not trying to force their lifestyle on you. You're thinking of Republicans.

Texas Tech’s official position is that Brendan Sorsby’s mental health is best served by spending 4 months getting tackled while thousands of opposing fans chant “F—k you Sorsby” at him. Quite the racket they’re running in Lubbock these days

I can’t help but wonder whether the people advising Brenden Sorsby were really concerned about his mental health and well-being. Can you imagine being in a recovery program when almost every other post on “X” mentions you as the main villain in a story that has outraged virtually everyone in college sports? That would put a strain on anybody - even if they weren’t in a recovery program. The fact that Texas Tech hasn’t already unplugged Sorsby from this nightmare speaks volumes about whether they really give a rat’s ass about this young man’s mental health or what’s best for his future. Actions speak louder than words.
This is really well said. Sorsby shouldn’t play but it’s not as simple as “you’re off the team” if the coaches truly care about him and his well being. Happy compromise, he stays on the team. He gets the help, the scholarship, the money, practice. He just doesn’t play.

Kirby - you can support his recovery while telling him that he can’t suit up for Texas Tech. That is an option. Everyone can see right through you.

So
Iran, a country whose military we’ve “destroyed”, was able to shoot down one of our Apache helicopters, during a “ceasefire”, in the middle of a war that isn’t a war, which is “two days” away from ending?

The judge's decision on Brendan Sorsby is indicative of where we are. We've confused compassion & empathy with excusing behavior. This is what happens when the person who broke the rules is increasingly viewed as the primary victim. Accountability is now cruelty. Embarrassing.

I’m not saying Graham Platner should or shouldn’t be a candidate for a Senate seat, but I am saying that the media’s treatment of Platner as compared to its treatment of Ken Paxton is the same as the media’s treatment of Joe Biden as compared to its treatment of Donald Trump. The media bolsters the MAGA narrative that there’s never a decent Democrat nor an indecent MAGA Republican.
Three women who dated Graham Platner, the Democratic candidate for Senate in Maine, told The New York Times they found his actions intimidating and disturbing, describing volatile relationships. nyti.ms/4dRPvLm

When I told my Dad I was gay in 1995 he said something that will always stay with me. He told me about his best friend in the army that was in the closet and had children and was from a deeply religious family where the “Gay was prayed away.” My father started crying (he has only ever cried twice in my presence) and said that he found his friend hanging from the rafters in the barracks. Suicide at aged 29, three kids, an oblivious wife. He said “As long as you are safe, happy and loved that is all I want for you son. I would prefer an alive gay son to one that kills himself because he is gay.” #PrideMonth2026
