According to the energy cranks and fossil shills on X GB is the only country adding wind power to its generation capacity as we are stupid and don’t want cheap fossil generation. The reality is we are so small we don’t even feature in the chart 😉
🇨🇳 China accounts for an overwhelming 73% of the world's added wind capacity in 2025. India and the US are next. Chinas shows the way to the renewable future. It’s time for the rest of the world to catch up! ☀️

I mean, I’m all for putting things into perspective, but when it comes to global warming, zooming out a couple thousand years is not exactly reassuring.

These people are pretty weird. Washing machines are better and more efficient. They moan about energy costs but hate efficiency 🤯 The climate and energy cranks think we are going back to this. What is actually wrong with them?
Ed Miliband unveils his vision of the future washing machine for all British households:-

I live in a country where people are frightened of fake enemies and bans that are not happening.
I live in a country where the energy secretary and his climate committee commissars are promising to ban or severely restrict: Petrol and diesel cars Oil and gas drilling Gas heating Underfloor heating Tumble driers Fertiliser Air travel and Cattle They plan to forbid their way to prosperity. Please somebody explain to them why that won't work.

EVs destroy oil demand. 👍🏻 Fact. Get used to it oil fans more demand destruction is on its way every single year.
EVs cut down the EU’s oil imports ✂️ And the region can manufacture as much as 4.6 million EVs annually, nearly DOUBLE the current demand of 2.5 million. In 2025, EVs avoided 67 million barrels of oil imports worth €4.1bn 🇪🇺 ember-energy.org/latest-insi…

Summers are going to be really tough in the future given more warming is already baked in. Not just for humans but think about our natural ecosystems too. Animals have much less chance of avoiding the heat than we do and our plant life will just have to try and tolerate it.
France is heading towards its second heatwave... BEFORE the summer solstice! 🔥🌡️🥵 It’s just nightmarish, morbid, and foreshadows how difficult life will be in the 21st century. 😰 I’m thinking of the ecosystems that can’t take it anymore... 🌲✝️ Map via @Kevin_Fillin

Solar is so cheap now it’s even cheaper than gas in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 When people tell you gas is a cheaper way to generate electricity than renewables they are either ignorant or lying.
Good morning with good news: Solar prices in Saudi Arabia ranged from $11/MWh to $15.1/MWh at four solar sites totaling 3 GWs in its 6th renewable energy tender. 1.1-1.5cents/kWh power! Wow! 43.2 GW of RE has been awarded, with 12.3 GW operating. constructionreviewonline.com…

Turkeys 🦃 voting for Christmas. 🎅 Many of Reforms target areas are the most prone to damage from climate change impacting coastal regions and farmers. Many net zero related jobs are based in these areas too. Reform at war with their own constituents 🤯

Is Reform heading for its own climate crisis? 8 out of 10 of the most flood-prone constituencies are projected to vote in a Reform MP at the next general election, but the party remains sceptical about the climate crisis and net zero policies. @holly_evans98 independent.co.uk/news/uk/po…

Some rather strange people don’t want this to stop and would happily watch the world’s temperature continue to go up and up if it means they can continue to burn stuff 🤷‍♂️
The world has warmed by around 1.4C since 1850. It took 148 years for the first half of that warming to occur, and just 27 years for the second half!

If you pause net zero you pay more for foreign fossil fuels. They are so expensive this is a ridiculous suggestion. If you want to save money invest in solar and an EV/heatpump. The country should continue to invest in cheaper clean power.
Let’s pause net zero for a decade and see who cares about putting defence above Ed Miliband’s expensive energy obsessions.

Clean power and EVs are really helping make a difference to people’s health in cities. Some people like Reform want a return to dirty air, more respiratory and cardiovascular disease and death. Don’t let them take the country backwards.
Incredible - dramatic improvements in air quality in London are linked to a measurable impact on Londoners' health: 9.3% drop in heart-related emergency admissions 5.1% drop in hospital admissions of all illnesses and health conditions Cleaning up our air protects our future.

Gas for electricity generation continues to be squeezed out by cleaner, cheaper and more sustainable renewables. Most countries are importers of gas too so would rather produce their power domestically. This trend will continue.
Share of gas in global #electricity mix has fallen for the fifth consecutive year, with nearly half of the world’s gas-generating economies already passing peak #gas.. reneweconomy.com.au/gas-shar…
