once Fable becomes available again, I'm not gonna sleep instead, I will create roadmaps and long-term plans for: > all areas of my life > all startup ideas I have > all potential features for all of my softwares > long-term forecasts for geopolitical events > personalized SWE courses > deep summaries of all books I wanna read > in-depth analysis of my business data and any other ideas I'll get. this is the only way to escape the permanent underclass.

Own your intelligence.
I don't care what kind of hardware you have, you should be running local models Governments are now banning models. They’re determining what technology you can and can’t use With local models, you are free and nobody can control you Even if you're on the cheapest Mac Mini you can be doing this Here's a complete guide: 1. Download LMStudio 2. Go to your OpenClaw/Hermes and say what kind of hardware you have (computer and memory and storage) 3. Ask what's the best local model you can run on there (probably will be Gemma 4 or Qwen. if you have a big computer, it will be GLM) 4. Ask 'based on what you know about me, what workflows could this open model replace?' 5. Have OpenClaw walk you through downloading the model in LM Studio and setting up the API 6. Ask OpenClaw to start using the new API Boom you're good to go. You just saved money by using local models, have an AI model that is COMPLETELY private and secure on your own device, did something advanced that 99% of people have never done, and have entered the future. If you are on smaller hardware you probably are not going to replace all your AI calls with this, but you could replace smaller workflows which will still save you good money Own your intelligence.

Short-lived, hopefully it will be active soon.
Fable 5 was the greatest piece of technology I’ve ever used. I deeply miss it Solved problems I never thought AI could solve Finished months of projects in days Had a lovely personality I now know what those freaks crying about GPT 4o being taken away feel like

Voice apps have pretty strict requirements for latency, privacy, and customization - understandably. So it's often hard to find an AI voice tool that really fits your needs. In this tutorial, @juntao helps you build your own voice AI agent using open source tools. freecodecamp.org/news/how-to…

All powered by M3 on Hermes Agent @NousResearch
I didn't touch TouchDesigner myself. Hermes agent learned it from scratch and built this: → navigated my desktop with computer use → figured out how to connect to TouchDesigner → read my reference images → iterated on the art with me in a self-learning loop → then saved what it learned as a reusable skill for the next image all powered by @MiniMax_AI M3 × Hermes Desktop Agent @NousResearch Here's a full breakdown 📽️

We’re rolling out changes to make Fable 5’s safeguards for frontier LLM development visible. Starting this week, flagged requests will visibly fall back to Opus 4.8—the same as our safeguards for cyber and bio. You will see this every time it happens. On the API, any flagged requests will return a reason for their refusal (coming to server-side fallback in the next few days). We wanted to deploy Fable 5 to our users quickly and safely. Visible safeguards can be probed, so they have to be robust, which takes time to get right. Invisible safeguards can be targeted more narrowly, allowing us to ship quickly with very few false positives. We went with invisible safeguards for this reason—and that was the wrong tradeoff. You should have visibility into the safeguards we have in place, and why. We’re sorry for not getting the balance right. Making the safeguards visible makes them easier to work around, so keeping them robust to jailbreaks will unfortunately mean more false positives while we improve the classifiers. We're also tuning our bio and cyber classifiers to trigger less often on harmless requests. We know this is frustrating and we’ll do our best to keep this period as short as possible. If you think a request has been mistakenly flagged: run /feedback in Claude Code, click thumbs-down on the fallback in Claude.ai or Cowork, or file the safeguard appeal form for API requests. Your reports help us tune these classifiers and we appreciate your feedback. support.claude.com/en/articl…

Releasing a model this capable comes with risks. Without safeguards, Fable 5’s capabilities in areas like cybersecurity could be misused to cause serious damage. Queries on a narrow range of topics will instead receive a response from our next-most-capable model, Opus 4.8.
