FACT CHECK: No, FEMA isn’t running out of money to help hurricane victims because they gave funds to migrants. Congress approved $20 billion for FEMA’s Disaster Relief Fund through Dec. 20, and those funds are locked in for disaster relief only. The $640 million for the Shelter and Services Program, which helps with humanitarian aid, is separate and cannot unilaterally be repurposed for disaster recovery by the President or by FEMA. Congress — led by Republicans in the House — approved both budgets, and it takes Congressional action to allocate more funds. It's just another MAGA lie to try and scare voters before the election.

You would think that a member of Congress would know that Congress authorized FEMA to administer the Shelter and Services Program, whose funding is totally unrelated to FEMA's Disaster Relief Program. What do you even know happens in Congress?
