I received a bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Missouri State University, then attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. I completed my Emergency Medicine residency in Chicago at Rush University Medical Center before coming to UC Davis Health for the fellowship.”

Everyone at UC Davis Health (the residents, fellows, medical students, attendings, ancillary staff, etc.) is great. I truly enjoy every shift I have in the ER or simulation center. The fellowship is fantastic because there are endless opportunities for teaching, research, clinical work, and mentorship, all while having a flexible schedule. The best part is that every time I conduct simulation activities with students, residents, and nurses, I become a better practicing emergency medicine physician. Everything about this training is directly translatable to the clinical world.”
