65% of all small boat events were prevented in May through UK-France joint action.
Soaring temperatures have historically seen a spike in crossings but specialist officers disrupted more small boat events than the number which successfully crossed.
This builds on over 44,000 small boat crossing attempts already prevented since July 2024.

It is fantastic news that the Government has finally woken up to the dangers of social media for young people. This is an important step in helping parents protect childhood for children.
Huge credit goes to @LauraTrottMP and my Shadow Cabinet for relentlessly fighting for this. Conservatives welcome this latest Labour U-turn, and will continue to work for the best implementation of the policy.

We are banning social media access for under 16s.
These days kids must find their feet in a world where technology intrudes into every area of their life.

The full UK State Pension is now worth around ยฃ12,548 a year. That's less than half the earnings of someone working full-time on the National Minimum Wage, despite many pensioners paying taxes and National Insurance for 40, 50 or even 60 years.
Yet every time the Treasury needs money, the same voices appear demanding the Triple Lock be scrapped.
Why?
State pension spending is forecast at around ยฃ154 billion this year, but that supports over 13 million pensioners, many of whom rely on it as their primary income. Meanwhile, billions continue to disappear into failed projects, government waste, bureaucracy, consultants, quangos and policies that deliver little value to ordinary taxpayers.
The Triple Lock isn't some gold-plated luxury. It exists because politicians allowed the State Pension to fall behind for decades. Even today, a full State Pension is barely above the poverty line and is nowhere near a typical working wage.
If politicians want to save money, start with waste, inefficiency and failed spending programmes.
Leave pensioners alone.
They worked, they paid in, they built this country and they deserve dignity in retirement, not another raid on their income.

If the hotel reopens as a normal hotel. Everyone should boycott it
Itโs with a heavy heart I can finally announce that the Bell Hotel has been SHUT DOWN.
The Home office just confirmed that all of the migrants on site have been removed. Thank you to all the dedicated patriots and activists who protested every Sunday over the last year or so. Epping is now a safer place because of you.
I want to leave a stark warning though The migrants are gone, but we are not. We are organised, and if you return, we will be back. Keep Epping refugee free.

Two small boat pilots are the first to be jailed under a new endangerment offence.
After piloting overcrowded dinghies carrying more than 140 people between them, Mohammad Tajik and Alnour Mohamed Ali have been sentenced to four years and three months combined.
