Today we mourn the anniversary of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
35 years ago, on Dec. 6, 1989, an act of gender-based violence at École Polytechnique in Montréal took the lives of 14 women.
To recognize this day of significance, we will be holding events today in both Fredericton and Saint John. These events are free and open to the community.
Join us in Fredericton at 3 p.m. in the Kinesiology Building Auditorium, Rm. 215, and at 6 p.m. in Saint John at the Saint John Arts Centre.
