Ministry of Tourism has launched the Eco-tourism Framework and Roadmap in partnership with @USAIDMaldives @USAIDCAP and @MoEnvmv to promote environmentally friendly tourism. It aims to identify unique sites, set eco-standards, and introduce diverse tourism options.

Current weather alerts are hazard-based and do not provide the level of impact caused by the hazard. Impact-based forecasting is crucial for Maldives to build climate resilience as it will provide the information required for early action and response to climate-induced events.

@USAIDCAP has renewed our hope in restoring the endangered mangroves of Goidhoo. It's been amost decade since land reclamation had closed the saltwater lake causing sediment build up and stagnation. A vital nursery for protected sharks and rays.thank you
