The United States is deeply disappointed by the Greek Piraeus Court of Appeals’ decision to release Alexandros Giotopoulos, the leader and mastermind of the far-left Greek terrorist organization 17 November. This Memorial Day, I join Americans at home and around the world in honoring the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to our great Nation. Their sacrifice is the foundation upon which our freedom is built, and their memory will forever remain a sacred part of America’s story. We remember them today and always.
