NITI Aayog released an Expert Group Report on Future Pandemic Preparedness today. The report provides a pandemic preparedness and emergency response framework for the country to prepare for any future public health emergency. It outlines an action plan for a 100-day response to any outbreak which is critical for effective management. Prepared after extensive consultations with experts from academia industry, clinicians, epidemiologists, researchers, policymakers and multilateral organisations, the report recommends a comprehensive blueprint to serve as a starting point for the country’s pandemic preparedness and prevention efforts. The keynote address was delivered by Shri @suman_bery , Hon’ble Vice-Chairman, NITI Aayog along with remarks by Dr. Vinod Kumar Paul, Hon’ble Member (Health), NITI Aayog; Shri BVR Subrahmanyam, CEO, NITI Aayog and Expert Group Members.
