If you want something from someone, make it clear what. It's not imposing to ask explicitly for something; it's imposing to be vague and make the recipient work to figure out what you want.

Seeing the future too late can be worse than not seeing it at all, because you are forced to experience the vision of what could have been.

The world works because millions of ordinary people keep choosing to be decent when nobody is watching.

While choosing a career as a young individual in this AI boom era, pick what genuinely fascinates you and go extremely hard. The same principle has been a foundation for any career regardless of the era.

You need to aspire to become the man who when pushed to the pits of hell stays composed and capable under pressure. The indomitable man. The storms are inevitable. Aspire to become the man who performs outstandingly in the rain.

You need to cultivate a lifestyle that should endlessly give you fire inside your heart so that you never struggle with motivation. You can cultivate that with your social circle ( being around hungry motivated people), the decisions you make. Then, with that fire, you will be enormously lucky.

Never get on a bad side of small minded people with authority

The universal quality of greatness I've noticed from individuals who achieved monumental success is the absolute disinterest in happiness. When you're pushing for something that matters, your own feelings are largely a distraction. Greatness is about doing what you're supposed to do, excellently well regardless of how you feel.

Dutch political philosopher Jan-Willen van der Rijt has a great saying: " The appetite for applause counts amongst the lowest of human character traits."

Key to winning: Choose to be positive and grateful. Then, just keep at it. Time is the great compounder and will do the rest. So many people just don’t have the discipline to stay positive and grateful. Then time compounds the bitterness instead.

Drugs may be a recreational pastime for the rich, but for the poor, they are often a gateway to further pain.
