Fur missile activated! 🐕🚨 A carjacking suspect in Los Angeles refused to cooperate - and received a swift attitude adjustment from a K9 officer. It went exactly how you’d expect. #K9Unit #BackTheBlue #PublicSafety #LosAngeles #LawAndOrder #UCOPS

Celebrating a Knicks win is one thing. Deciding to assault a police officer is another. He found out - very quickly - that attacking the men and women keeping the celebration safe was a bad game plan. Spoiler: It didn’t end well for him. Back the officers. Hold offenders accountable. #UCOPS #BackTheBlue #NYPD #PublicSafety #LawAndOrder

INCREDIBLE police work by UCOPS member @SanFranciscoPOA! A collector was pepper-sprayed and robbed after arranging an online sale. SFPD answered with smart police work. Using real-time intelligence, FLOCK cameras, drones, and coordinated surveillance, officers tracked down the suspects and safely took them into custody. Technology works when skilled officers are empowered to use it. Great work by SFPD. #UCOPS #SFPD #PublicSafety #PoliceWork #BackTheBlue
POKÉMON ROBBERY SUSPECTS ARRESTED: A collectible card sale turned into a robbery when a suspect pepper-sprayed the victim and stole the cards during an online marketplace meet-up. Officers ID'd and apprehended 2 suspects the following day. MORE: tinyurl.com/newsrelease26066

"Traffic stops remain one of the most dangerous and potentially deadly situations our officers face every single day. In this case, Mr. Manning was stopped for a traffic infraction but decided he was above the law. He refused to roll down his window, provide his license, ignored repeated lawful commands, and then violently resisted when officers attempted to place him under arrest. Mr. Manning created this situation entirely. He escalated the force necessary to effect his arrest by actively resisting and fighting against the officers. As happens so often, facts and important context are conveniently omitted when frivolous litigation is filed." - Louis Civello - President, Suffolk PBA and UCOPS

Caught from above. Felt on the ground. A local news helicopter captured the chaos in Los Angeles as LAPD officers chased an armed suspect for over two miles. The suspect opened fire on officers - striking one in the chest. Miraculously his body armor saved his life. That is courage under fire. That is the risk officers take to protect complete strangers. And that is why public safety depends on the men and women willing to run toward danger when everyone else runs away. The suspect is in critical condition. The officer is alive. Back the officers who put it all on the line. #BackTheBlue #SupportPolice #PublicSafety #LAPD #LawAndOrder @LAPPL

Buckle up! This is the life-or-death reality officers face every day. A Missouri officer nearly took gunfire during a pursuit of a suspect accused of shooting multiple people and killing one. The officer stayed in the fight, stopped the threat, and helped protect the community from further violence. Police work is dangerous. Public safety depends on brave officers willing to run toward danger. Back the officers. Support public safety. #UCOPS #BackTheBlue #PublicSafety #LawEnforcement #SupportPolice #LawAndOrder

SPOG pushed. Seattle watched. Public safety won. For months, SPOG has urged Mayor Katie Wilson to turn on Seattle’s CCTV cameras before the World Cup and give SPD the tools they need to keep residents, visitors, and officers safe. Despite City Hall’s pressure campaign against our members, SPOG kept posting real examples of violent crimes caught on camera across Seattle. Millions of views later, the public saw what SPOG has been saying all along: CCTV cameras help officers investigate crimes, apprehend suspects, and strengthen prosecutions. On Friday, Mayor Katie finally put politics aside and turned the cameras on. Public safety for the win.

This is what officers are facing while protecting public safety in Lee’s Summit, MO. A teen mob assaulted police and turned a family event into chaos. That’s not “kids being kids” - it’s lawlessness and it has no place in America. Respect for law enforcement starts at home. Back the officers. Hold them accountable. Protect our communities. #BackTheBlue #PublicSafety #SupportPolice #LawAndOrder #HoldThemAccountable

UCOPS supports the White House’s efforts to make public safety a national priority. The DOJ’s Model Cities Initiative is exactly the kind of investment communities need: more support for officers, stronger technology, real-time crime centers, license plate readers, body cameras, drones, and coordinated enforcement focused on violent crime. Public safety is not political, it is essential. Cities serious about reducing crime should step up, apply, and put these resources to work. Back the officers. Fund the tools. Protect the public. #UCOPS #PublicSafety #BackTheBlue #LawEnforcement #OfficerSafety #ModelCities
President Donald J. Trump announces the next step in the administration’s successful war on crime: the Department of Justice’s Model Cities Initiative, designed to slash violent crime and RESTORE LAW AND ORDER in major cities across America. 🇺🇸

Officer Brittney Taylor put on the uniform to protect her community and now she needs that community behind her. Officer Taylor, an SFPOA member, is recovering from life-threatening gunshot wounds she received in the line of duty after being shot multiple times during a pursuit and gun battle with a robbery suspect in San Francisco. She is expected to survive, but faces a long road to recovery. UCOPS proudly stands with Officer Taylor, her family, and our @SanFranciscoPOA brothers and sisters. Please consider donating, sharing, and helping lift up one of our own. This is the reality of public safety: evil can strike anywhere — even a neighborhood grocery store. Thank God for the brave citizens who acted, and for the Las Vegas Metro officers who responded to chaos and secured the scene. UCOPS stands with the officers and community members who refuse to let violence win. #UCOPS #BackTheBlue #PublicSafety #LawEnforcement #LVMPD OP: @KimKatieUSA

Help Federation members find justice for Gabriel and his family. Gabriel was killed in Saint Paul last weekend, and investigators are asking for the public’s help. Anyone who was near Johnson Parkway and Case Avenue and saw anything unusual — or has doorbell, dashcam, or surveillance footage — is urged to come forward. Even the smallest detail could help investigators establish a timeline and bring answers for Gabriel’s family. Please call 651-266-5650 with any information. #SPPF #StPaulPoliceFederation #PublicSafety #StPaulMN #BackTheBlue

Another heartbreaking reminder that there is no such thing as a “routine” call in law enforcement. Deputy Logan Utt was murdered while responding to a welfare check. We are grateful the suspect is now in custody, but our thoughts and prayers remain with Deputy Utt’s family, friends, and fellow deputies. Every shift, officers answer calls not knowing what dangers await them. Please keep all law enforcement officers in your prayers. #UCOPS #BackTheBlue #PublicSafety #SupportLawEnforcement #ThinBlueLine #NeverForget #HonorTheFallen
🚨 UPDATE: The man who slaughtered a Virginia deputy has been FOUND and ARRESTED across state lines in North Carolina A MASSIVE 2-day manhunt has concluded, time to execute the animal. He killed 31-year-old deputy Logan Utt 🙏🏻
