ALT We prioritize the health and safety of anyone who comes to us for care. We are aware of a series of videos that appear to have been posted by an individual confirmed to be an employee of our health system. The content of the videos is highly inappropriate and does not reflect the integrity or values of our health system. VCU Police are assisting with this investigation. Per policy, while the investigation is underway, the individual is on administrative leave and will not be in our facilities or interacting with patients.

At approximately 2:30 pm, officers received a report of a burglary from an apartment in 1200 W. Marshall St. The victim reported that a suspect entered their apartment without permission and removed personal items and currency. The suspect was unknown to the victim. ALT On May 4, 2025, shortly after 7 p.m., VCU Police was made aware of a threat called into the downtown Medical Center campus. Out of an abundance of caution, VCU Police and partnering law enforcement conducted sweeps of the downtown medical campus exterior, while further investigating the call. As of 10:26 p.m., officers concluded the sweep and an all clear was issued. All Medical Center operations remained normal throughout the incident.
